I read this question almost everyday when I login to musing. I too had this question in mind.
Back then, musing has been very helpful for us newbies. Especially with the up votes we get from them. When you are still new to the platform, with less engagements, more often than not, your posts are being overlooked. But thanks to musing, even by merely answering questions, rewards are almost guaranteed.
However, as of lately, musing has not been curating. Due to this, many users got disappointed. Me, including. However, while engaged in deep thought, I realized it is not the duty of musing to give upvotes to every answer. Also, I read that @misterdelegator removed its delegation to musing. Without this delegation, it is impossible for musing to curate every posts.
With the overwhelming number of users posting questions and answers in musing, it is impossible for musing to upvote all. My advice is, if you answer a question, do the best that you can to make it a quality answer because, in the first place, this is what musing is all about.
Lastly, don't get disappointed once your answers are not curated. Always look at the bright side. For me, even if my answers are not being curated, I am still thankful to musing because I can get ideas on what I can post.
That's a positive approach to that. I have no idea what musing.io is. I think most of us here is just here for the upvotes that's why we wanted to find ways we can easily do that.
@musing might have stopped curating but the bidbots like @buildawhale and others have either stopped selling votes to now curate, or they now sell votes AND curate.
You might want to come back.. #newsteem is here 😀
