Bidbots are not the best investment, bidbots are designed to promote a post to keep it on the trending page. Also bidbots are highly discouraged, in the next few months most of the dapps will have beneficiaries, and this will really tell you that there will be no place for bidbots. Unless you promote your stuff via steemit
I am aware of the bid bots . I personally do not use them now and am sure staying out of them in the future as well.
While this was just the suggestion that I gave out to him and at the end I did told him it was his options to choose from. While the other options were already laid out in the other answers of the question so I didnot wanted to include them.
