One other way of increasing visibility hence increased payouts is obviously to use voting bots like Booster, Minnowbooster, Bellyrub, Randowhale and Buildawhale. What voting bots do is basically they sell their votes in exchange for liquid Steem or SBD.
For e.g. you send them 2 SBD and you may get a $5 vote. There may be a good ROI, but is it good for the platform? Basically such services are sold by whales with lots of Steem Power. Whether you should use them or not is a Steem-ethical issue.
Would it be good for the platform if everyone just boosts their posts and whales get richer? I would like to use them someday if I wish to get more visibility on the post. This is because posts with higher payouts will appear on the trending page and the hot page.
It may be a good way to get more visibility but I wouldn’t advise you to use them all the time.
Thank you @nicefortune for your contributions to this discuss.
Using bots tends to increase visibility irrespective of content Quality. Thus both poor and high quality content would withness equal visibility. But in the long run quality of the vision content would determine its rewards.
