Like many new ideas in the fintech sphere it looks great on paper. For those who dont't know, Initiative Q is attempting to be a global payment network and grandly claiming to have a global currency to run on that paymemt network called Q.
Right now, there is Q being reserved for early adoptors but to get an invite to join, you need to know someone who is a member already and get them to invite you via their facebook or twitter.
Now lets be quite clear, this is NOT a crypto coin. It is based on current financial global payment models with simply using a global currency to cut out exchanges and their associated costs.
My thoughts?
Well I joined using the invite. They dont require a lot of personal details but in return you get nothing but promises with nothing to back it up. It all looks very strange to be honest and to anyone thinking of joining and who gets invited, Id suggest youre very careful as to the amount of personal information you give them. On a more positive note, it does have a strong and well respected team behind it.
Stay safe online and dont forget. Any scheme that looks too good to be true, probably isnt true!
Lets see what happens when Chris verifies my sign up. Its all looking a bit pyramidish at the moment!
