Well you don't have any reach on steemit just because you registered.

You do have a few options though. If you post with the right tags somebody might be interested in your posts and start to follow you. If you engage with others (by upvoting and commenting on their posts) you may gain friends and therefore increase your reach. You may also be able to join a community (for example we do have a german speaking discord server), with something like this you are able to very quickly make new friends and naturally they will upvote and follow you ;)

At least that's what worked out for me :)
