    I read that and thought the same thing, but it's surprising if that's the case considering its @Dan behind it. There were rumours recently about a lot of the coding being contracted out. I wonder if that's a contributory issue?

        I agree that a chat/message feature is necessary. But encrypting messages on a public blockchain is extremely difficult, because you'd have to be sure that the encryption won't be broken in the next 20 or 50 years. I'd prefer a federated system that doesn't use the blockchain, but could be used on Steemit, Busy and other websits/apps.

            I do remember your article very well. It was such an amazing trip, written in superb detail and emotional language. I have read your article twice, and I have been following that as a sample of "how a perfect piece of work looks like".
