Nope .. As long as it keeps spiking it has not reached its bottom.. Every Spike is followed by a crash.. In my opinion BTC bottom could be around 4500$ but it has to stay around 4500$ for atleast 1-2 years then we can call it the BTC Bottom. If it spikes back from 4500$ then probably we are looking a much lower bottom.
BTC will not see the 'bottom' - the low level it once knew from yesteryears and no bubble will break. All the FUD that is being created is caused by the banks and the people who try to control how the world spends. I am certain that crypto will have a bright future as more and more applications based on it will revolutionize how the world works and there will be no looking back. The bulls and bears will have their pull and push game but eventually, it will stabilize
Important line from the summary: "Based on minimizing PCR errors, Pfu polymerase, Pwo polymerase, and Phusion all produce acceptably low levels of mutations."
Phusion created more indel mutations than Pfu and Pwo so it should not be used if you are doing an ORF cloning project.
However, in the 2014 study, they found that "Aside from fidelity considerations, amplification efficiency values were significantly higher for Phusion and Pwo compared to Pfu, although further optimization of the PCR reaction for Pfu would likely improve efficiency values."
So likely you will want to choose Pfu or Pwo depending on your experiment.
Those are old polymerases though, there are several engineered polymerases which are vastly superior to those from Pyrococcus furiosus or Pyrococcus woesei. Phusion, as mentioned above is good as that is the combination of the polymerase/nuclease domains from an archaeal polymerase as well as a double stranded DNA binding domain, for increased affinity. So out of the above listed pols, for the use case I asked Phusion is hands down the winner.
However there are other commercially available polymerases like Kapa biosciences HiFi DNA polymerase, or New England Biolabs Q5 which both achieve superior fidelity to Phusion. Those two are polymerases which are used for Next Gen sequencing amplifications specifically because of their incredibly low error rate. In the case of Q5, its error rate (while one is reported) is more due to the detection of oxidative damage during DNA preparatory steps then it is actual mistakes made by the enzyme itself.
Were I to be amplifying a gene out of genomic DNA I would likely use Q5 or KapaHiFi DNA polymerases, as they would have the lowest error rate.
In the last steem update steem introduced this 12hr thing. Most people were seen upvoting content when close to payout time, so that they can get an instant payout. To solve this unfair voting techniques steem made a change.
We can vote and get paid in the last 12hr, but the voting stength reduce inversely with time.
12 hrs left - 100% curation reward
6hr left - 50% curation reward
0hrs left - 0% reward
In the last 12 hours only downvotes are allowed, this is to prevent users to get big upvotes without a chance to revert them.
Now we do have 12 hours where users can correct the abuse with downvotes.
This however doesn't prevent downvote abuse, this is why in the next version most likely the votes aren't prohibited completly, but are decreasing in value until the final payout.
It is basically to prevent misuse of the site, the voting power, the vested power, stopping reward pool rape and selfish interest voting groups. An instance where whales even sought money for voting was found and the person involved had to admit of wrongdoing. In the above case, the whale had voted just before the last 12 hour period began and for a single user who had been paying a percentage. Such misuse is detrimental to the basic goals of steemit
I believe the problem was that people were voting a lot within this 12 hour period so that not as many people would notice and be able to call them out on it. If a whale constantly upvoted the same user in the last 10 minutes, almost no one would be able to catch them doing it. Same would apply to downvotes.
For the past few months, we have been seeing the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies declining. This even has an impact on steem as well. But compared to other cryptocurrencies, steem stays strong. As we are seeing so many applications built on top of the steem blockchain, I see a bright future for steem. @Musing is one best example. What is your opinion on this? Please share your views.
Steem is one the few crypto-currencies that has a developed and fully functional platform behind it.
It has a real world use case which is very uncommon in the cryto-world. Even a layman can see the use case for steem. In my opinion Steem does have a bright future ahead unless and until they dont mess it up themselves like Yahoo or Orkut. We all know that at one time Yahoo was way ahead of Google but just look at it now.
The technological niche is a fast changing sphere and thus to survive in it one has to be constantly addressing the shortcomings of a platform. As long as Steem is performing better than its rivals it will have a Bright Future.
Bitcoin generally tends to affect the entire market when it rises and falls. So it is normal to see Steem dip during the market downtrends. I personally believe Steem will have a bright future. Especially being that the Steemit platform, and many others at this point, depend on Steem.
For Steemit being the first of it's kind, blockchain driven social media platform, it is incredibly successful, and constantly being updated. I think we are still in the relative early stages of just how far Steemit is going to go.
Now that we are seeing incredible platforms arise left and right such as musing, and dlive, it's only going to get better from here.
Can the blockchain at this time support massive user interactions/adoption? I think the active development continuing is vital moving forward, - scalability - but there is lots going on right now. I think the buzz speaks for itself, but many do get tired of the small returns and limited time frame for rewards. I think we will see changes here too as time goes on.
The only alt-coin that I know of that has such a large community and development going on behind it is Steem.
Steem at the moment is way ahead of everything else, I think it's just a matter of time before it starts rising on the charts. Plus at the end of the day because of the market that supports Steem and the demand It's also one of the safest and smartest coin to invest in.
Steem has a very good future because they are running many different programs and daily updated the team is very good the project behind this is very good and i always says if the project is good you can invest in it and be safe for long term.
Steem is competitor of many applications like youtube, blogger and many other concepts and this all are now a days coming in blockchain technology where steem blockchain has already made many progress in this technology.
I amn't a pessimistic but I do think steemit is not going to have that bright future as everyone is thinking. It may or may not have.
Initial people in steemit has grown a bit easily and now a days building a profile is becoming a bit hard.
Imagine if someone start another platform just like steemit then people would run there to catch the larger pie.
If the newer platforms provide better options than steemit then people would go there.
Steemit should be upgrading overtime just like the apple. Then I guess it would have the brightest future.
Just stay active on it, do your part by answering queries. A good platform with substance will always survive. People dint promote Quora, its content did its marketing. As long as the content stays relevant to someone's search the traffic is bound to come.
Have patience and let it grow. Word of mouth is the best publicity any platform can get. I don't think I ever saw an Advertisement for Google Search Engine on Television but still it is the best.
However Celebrity interviews, Q& A sessions could prove to be a big publicity stunt for Musing. That would be a good marketing ploy. But still after that you need to have substance.
I assume thats the reason. As long as theres no interaction on a post, it can be deleted but as soon as someone interacts with the post, its permanent.
This is an interesting question. In Blockchain everything is decentralized. Anyone has access to view anything. We will be able to impose encryption but most of the things are kept open for everyone to view. There are both advantages and disadvantages in this.
The main advantage is that nothing can be hidden from the world. If we need a piece of information, it will be somewhere out there. We can always lookup. Due to this fact we will not be able to delete any transaction or broadcast in Blockchain. It becomes permanently available. This can be said as a disadvantage in a way but the weightage for it to be an advantage is more. That is why it takes a lable decentralized.
We will be able to hide a particular post or comment from visibility by adding a commit in top of the previous commit. If someone queries in the back end the previous version of the content will still be available but only the latest commit or broadcast will be visible in the UI.
It is indeed because of the rewards. Once somebody has voted on it he is earning curation rewards with it. It would be unfair to "steal" the other users their rewards for voting :)
Also note that there is no real deleting on a blockchain, everything is public and permanent once you post it, the only difference is if it is displayed on frontends like steemit.
you can edit the post on steemit , title and tags as you are not able to delete a post , the previous post will still on blockchain but the viewers are not able to see it .
It's just the way the Steem blockchain works. A block builds upon the next block, and all the info is stored in all the blocks. That means that nothing can really be deleted from the blockchain unless you delete it before the next block hits, meaning you have 3 seconds.
That's not to say that things don't depend on the particular explorer you are using. It's possible that something can be developed to reveal 'versions' of former posts. Although things can't be deleted, it may be possible to mask with a separate version, or something... i'm sure they'll improve on this one day.
the next crypto currency bull run will come once the institutional investors enter the market and the bitcoin future contract team will stop manipulating crypto market. Once the market will shoot up the bitcoin will move to 25000 dollars and after that we see again a big dip.
By 2020 the block reward for BTC will be halved. Expect a massive bull run by 2021. In my opinion the till 2020 there will be spikes in price but you may not expect a massive Bull run.
I think you are right about the fact that we will see a new bull run when the block rewards for BTC halves again. I hope we get another one in the meantime though.
Bandwidth is offered to Steemit users in proportion to how much Steem Power they have. If a user has X amount of Steem Power then he will receive Y amount of bandwidth. If another user has 5*X amount of Steem power then his bandwidth will be Y times 5.
When a user posts something on Steemit, he losses some Bandwidth for that action. Users with a lot of Steem Power generally won't have their bandwidth run out to zero. But new users with 2-3 Steem Power may notice that their Bandwidth is very low after posting a lot of comments or posts.
Steem users can check their Bandwidth allocation by visiting steemd.com/@[username of that person]. As an example, I have shown my bandwidth in the following image. I have 5.4gb of bandwidth left. Even
Bandwith works with SP. If you have under 5sp, you have trouble with the bands. If you post once a day and do not comment too often, is enough 5sp. If you follow + + comments + more posts per day, you will consume enough band and you can have problems.
Di steemit Many people face this problem at the beginning. It was a very frustrating experience. Most new users don't know until they face this problem. They make lots of comments and posts without caring because they think it's like Facebook so they keep commenting, meresteem, upvote and follow. Until they will know when they can not post or comment any more, when an error message comes in when they want to create a bug or something and upvote.
So it needs to be in mind that Steemit is not like Facebook or Twitter, steemit works based on a blockchain system that has many limitations.
Steemit Platform is amazing, so you must know some of the provisions, written and unwritten rules that I have posted.
Understanding Steemit Bandwidth?
Bandwidth is the value of consumption of data transfers that are calculated in bits / seconds or commonly called bits per second (bps), between the server and the client in a certain time. Or the definition of bandwidth is the width or width of the frequency range used by the signal in the transmission media. So .. Bandwidth is Information carrying capacity. In Steemit This Can Be Blocked as How much information you can upload and download on certain Steemit blocks.
So the bandwidth carrying capacity depends on how much steem power you have and the benefits you get from certain steemit blocks. Because whenever you collect rewards you get certain parts in the steemit block chain that increases your bandwidth. So far I see that bandwidth really depends on how much profit you get in steem power to increase your own bandwidth. This means that the greater the reward and the more you get, the greater the bandwidth stored in your steemit access. and that doesn't depend on your STEEM POWER. The rewards you get give you certain parts of the blockchain that increase your bandwidth.
What is Bandwitdh in steemit?
Steemit has a threshold, for that bandwidth has been reduced to prevent automatic spam. And you can check it in
Everything you do (posts, voting, comments, etc.) will consume a small amount of your bandwidth. Every user has a limited amount of bandwidth to be used every week. Users with more Steem (Steem Power) power will have a higher amount of bandwidth.
You can check how much bandwidth you have currently based on the current limit at https://steemd.com/@ youraccountname.
Usually everyone's bandwidth allowance is quite high, and users can use the network freely without interruptions (constraints). Sometimes when blockchain gets busy because of the large number of users, each person's individual bandwidth allowance may go down until the network becomes less busy.
the bandwidth occurs because our steam power is weak eg its 10 so the bandwidth it depends on SP and SP we little then to post comments and like it is very limited for that, raise sp and you will not feel the bandwidth back
I see that some people have already answered you, but I wanted to also add the following: bandwidth on Steem will be changed to another system in the upcoming Hardfork 20 update. After this there will be no bandwidth, but rather a Resource Credit. You can read more about the new, upcoming system is this post: https://steemit.com/bandwidth/@steemitblog/blockchain-update-2-hf20-progress-and-bandwidth-changes
Six years ago I persuaded a friend to buy some Bitcoins. Now his wallet contains over 1 million dollars worth of Bitcoins, but he has forgotten the password to the wallet.
He has promised me half if I can help him get access to the wallet. What can we do???
Unfortunately, you`'re unable to regain access to your wallet if you've lost or forgotten your password. This is because you don't have access to your wallet or your wallet password. You can read more about how our wallet works here. If you are getting the error message "Error decrypting wallet" when attempting to log in, then this means the password you're using is incorrect.
If you find yourself in this situation, I recommend trying the steps below:
Try to log in using every possible password combination you may have used.
Your 12 word Wallet Recovery Phrase can be used if you forget your password. Enter the phrase using this form to create a new wallet that contains all the addresses and balances contained in your previous wallet. Keep in mind, this process does NOT include funds stored in any Imported Addresses.
Bitcoin wallets are protected by 256bit encryption meaning there are 2^256 different private key combinations.
Now, With fastest supercomputer power, it will take approx. 1.5 billion years to crack it...
Good News
According to Moore's law computers are getting faster exponentially every year, so if we assume that the computer speed doubles every year, then after 59 years it will take 1.13 year to crack your BTC wallet.
So tell your friend to wait for 59 years....
Maybe he can write it in his will for his grandchildren's so they can try cracking it...:)
Your friend just need to sit down and try his best to remember it. There's not a single thing that can be done about it unless he magically remembers it again.
There are several ways you can make a new password or you can have a password .it doesn't mean that millions of Bitcoin are present so you can regain your password of any volume of Bitcoin present.
1)if you forget your password then you can recovery your email address and you get your password there.
2)if you have 12 digit password recovery password then you can able to get the new password with the help of 12 digit password, which you can click on forget password and you can type the password there so you get your new password in your gmail account.
3)if you don't have email I'd in which you had registered and also 12 digit code then it would be very difficult to get a new password. So you have to save your password in your gmail account.
It's very easy to move dapps already running on Steem to EOS by writing smart contract. I know there will be SMT sometime, but I think the development takes too long, no clear timeline and most of all, writing smart contract on EOS can beat the almost every single feature SMT provides.
ONO on EOS is an example of a competitor. I think ultimately, Steem might have the first mover advantage in this regard. It really comes down to the development of the community and how quickly developers start to use Steem -- much like this Musing.io site.
STEEM has the first mover advantage but I personally believe that the Dev Team is too slow and @ned wanted the community to do too much.
Since I have been here (almost a year), almost NO Upgrades came from the STEEM Dev Team. All the inovation came from developers doing projects.
Do you know anyone in STEEM Dev Team except NED?
When I look at ONO they have a strong team, they have money, they are supported by Dan and they are well known in Asia and are managed as a company.
They will win the "social" war in my opinion.
I suspect there is more going on 'behind the scenes' within the dev team at Steemit than people think. They have spoken about building an infrastructure that can scale. Scaling will be hugely important, especially when they open the floodgates to new Steemians with automated registration, SMTs etc.
Personally, I am less fussed about the current look / UX of Steemit right now as new Dapps will no doubt be built to deliver a better experience (if Steemit doesn't get there first...).
As for EOS, we'll have to wait and see. They definitely have the cash, but that's not always a good thing as they could end up trying to bite off more than they can chew. Having Dan on board is a huge bonus for them but he has been behind Steem too so it also comes with good pedigree.
It's going to be an interesting 6-12 months and it might just be that the arrival of EOS is just what Steem needed...
steem is only decentralised blockchain with social media platform having huge fan following and i dont think its eaiser for eos for such kind of mass adoption but its not impossible although. and eos have some technologies which steem can copy to make them up in the market
I can say , since I logged in today, I am in love with Musing.io aka @musing, this is really a great app, which has the potential to surpass all other apps built on steem blockchain.
I'd give it a 9+.
It's a great way to earn steem plus it's highly interactive and fun to use.
Only downside is the comment ranking as the one with the had highest upvote is the feature answer.
Pretty innovative
Has great prospects
This is my second day on here, but I like the site already. I love the fact that you can search out questions that interest you, give your honest-to-god answers on them, and earn steem.
At the moment I'd give it a 7 as well, mostly because I haven't used it enough to really get a good feel. I think it's a great app and a great idea as well.
Development behind it looks promising and the website itself is very smooth and clean.
I will go with 7 in its current state. There can be a lot of improvement which can be made. Improvements like posting as anonymously just like quora, creating a community so that the questions should not overlap with each other, just like Teams of StackOverflow. Musing should also think of starting their own coin.
Brave with the text style, the design, the speed and simplicity. Well done on the option to post to blog or not. Very easy to use. 9/10 for concept and execution.
actually i am still not aware how to use it so i just open it once to check and now i am in love with it as i have already answer 10-12 question i dont whether i get reward or its my loss to spend my time their but i am loving it as my each answer has some worth and i feel my voice and opinion has some value so thanks you musing.io for finding me.
I'm going to go with 7. It's working great at the moment, but there's still room for a lot of improvements before I'm ready to give it an 8, 9 or 10. I believe there is a huge potential for this project, so hopefully the development team will keep up the good work, and keep improving it.
For me it is + 10.
Why?
Because such a project really deserves. Soon there will be no question about Steemit that will not find its answer here. I really hope that in the future not only the people on its steemit receive the much-needed response, and even come from outside people who can get answers to their personal questions. Mathematical exercises, investments, almost any kind of questions and answers will find their answer here.I hope that will happens very soon with this project.
I like Musing.io and will rate it at 8. This site is so much similar to what I already do which is posting on forums and I get paid a fix amount. Unlike Musing.io which taps into the power of steemit blockchain, my earning could be more.
If Musing wants to improve, it must support the other languages except English. Musing need to create different posts for different languages so users can ask and answer with their own language under the posts.
Playstation VR
For PS VR, actually from 2015, guys. But only this time SONY released a VR-based device guys. If you really like 3D things, just buy this device.
Prices sold in Indonesia are pretty good, ranging from 6 million. Hmm, with that price you can immediately enjoy playing games with VR made by SONY. The design is cool, relying on just a few colors has made this device far more elegant.
Playstation 4 PRO
Don't miss the same name as PS4 PRO, because the game is booming in 2017. Because the game that was released was very 3D, for example Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Don't worry, not only in the Steam company that receives Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, but the company SONY PS4 PRO also accepts it. It must have known this one game.
Yay, PS4 PRO is equipped with PS VR which Jaka mentioned in number 1 earlier. Because, most PS4 PRO games must use PS VR, even though not all games. Well, for the price, it is priced around 3 million for Indonesia. Gamers certainly don't miss this: D
Xbox One
Maybe some of you already know about this one console game, maybe someone already has it. Xbox One is a game console based on PS and Xbox itself has its rivals, guys. With a perfect and more accurate design, this game has a price of 4 million in Indonesia.
For game cassettes, it is very varied and the price is also expensive for each game cassette. Fortunately, many already know. Because this console is very, very well-known throughout the country. Don't forget to buy it, guys, guaranteed not to regret it.
Fuze F1
Fuze F1 is a Chinese-made game console that designs almost exactly the Xbox. The ROM on this console is 32GB, not bad, right? Whereas currently the game console is only controlled by the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Powered by 4GHZ speed CPU, 500GB hard drive, and 4GB RAM.
Isn't it good for you who are game lovers, and the price is relatively cheap. But Jaka himself doesn't know the price: D. Please search. Fortunately there are economy class game consoles like this, guys. Moreover, the stick is almost the same as the Xbox. With a super elegant black color can make people crazy about the formal design.
Nintendo 3DS XL
You must already know. Well, for Nintendo 3DS, Jaka also includes it in this article. Why? Because this console already has a 4GB Hard Drive. This is good for the game graphics that this console has, let alone 3D.
Even the game is not inferior to other games, guys. The price for this console is around 3 million. Wow, this small console costs so much? Yes, obviously, because this game has its own uniqueness. Because this console has a kind of touch pen to choose what game you want to play. Let's buy.
I haven't had many console time in my life. I have spent my most time on my PC games. But I love PlayStation 4 just because of all the exclusives it has. PlayStation's exclusives are the only reason why i have stuck to it.
I mean the developers like Naughty Dog and the games that those guys make you just can;t resist them and that's why I would always go with PS4. On a side note, I would really love if the nest PlayStation is backwards compatible. I know with PS3 it was difficult due to the main difference of architecture in PS3 and PS4. But according to the rumours, the PS5 is supposed to come with the same x86 architecture as PS4. So, maybe Sony would surprise us.
My favourite gaming console are so many out of all I will discussed few of my favourite gaming console.whwn I was small I mostly preferred to play on PlayStation 10 and the time changes there were advanced in gaming console I found such as playstation2, playstation3, playstation4 are my favourite gaming console from my childhood later on various gaming console came in my life.
Counter still was the game which I played most on server or as well as with my friends because it has such a good graphics and also the graphics we're brilliant ,the developers had worked so hard to make this game popular and also the game had too much craze at that time.
Later I had played GTA which was popular in all over the world and there were various stages to complete the task and it also has a good controlling system and the developers we're also the great.
The least annoying, most seamless and graphically intense is of course Playstation 4. Do consoles have to get any better than this? Do you need the pro edition? The games are so massive it takes lifetimes to complete them anyway, and the graphics allow for indie and mainstream splendour. The menu is easy, the multiplayer just works and the blu-ray player hasn't let me down. Sure, we'll have faster VR, in the future better graphics, AR and all sorts down the road, but you have to ask yourself: does pleasingly passive armchair-bound interactive entertainment need to get better than this, before it completely overtakes our lives?
My favorite is my good, old Nintendo 64. It just had so many great games on it! It's actually still the only older generation game console that is still plugged in to my TV.
I always wanted to use a gaming console to play games. I currently use my laptop and mobile phone to play my favourite game. I don't really see myself as a hardcore gamer. I once used to spend more than 12 hours a day gaming. But as soon as I found it not adding any value to my life, I stopped playing games.
To answer the question, I would say PC is currently my favourite gaming console. I also have a crush on PS4 but I'm not sure if I will go for it or not. For the types of games that I play currently, I feel PC will suffice my requirement.
I recently bought an HP OMEN laptop with a 4GB graphics card for dual purpose. One to do some coding and another is to play some of my favourite game via steam.
First, understand the basics of the platform and how things work. It seems simple enough: create content and get rewarded. But there are many nuances that often frustrate new users and send them away.
I've been developing a Beginner's Guide to Steemit that helps address many of these early concerns and topics on the platform. If you want to check it out, I've got links to all of the Steemit posts in one place if you'd like to check them out: https://ethandsmith.com/steemit.
I would also echo the other answers you've received on this question. Take the time to find a community to join. One of the best places to start is by heading over to @steemitramble and the Steemit Ramble Discord server (https://discord.gg/RHzuFQt). You can get connected with Steemians from all over the platform. There's even a live voice session twice on Thursdays where you can chat with other Steemians and find a good fit!
Also, please let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help you find success on Steemit. It takes a lot of hard work, but keep it up!
You should join discord and make some friends there just as @curtwriter said. You can also use autovotes to maximize your curation rewards. And you can write articles that people are interested in.
Also you should not underestimate how great comments can be to earn a few bucks. Try to find people who regularly upvote comments on their posts and just write a useful comment and get some money.
Make new friends!
This is the biggest tool to work at any platform to build your online carries is just make new friends and ask upvote from each other and comment from each other. Do this constantly for 25-30 days you will see the result automatically and you will get new friends even to help you.
No.
Reputation has nothing in common with the power of upvote.
Reputation is given by the total number of upvotes received from those who own Steem Power.
The power of upvote is Steem power invested or gained in time from your articles.
Nope, the reputation score is pretty much only a visual thing. It won't affect anything if you are rep 25 or rep 75! The only thing that is affected by rep is the fact that your content will be hidden by default if your rep is below 0. However, that only applies to Steemit.com, and not the other Steem interfaces.
As far as I know, I have answered this question.
Reputation score is given upvote received on articles,
The upvote power is given by the power up investment (Steem) and the reward gained from the articles. So it is not related to one another.
Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that derives its value from its brand name. It is the oldest crypto on the market. Technically it is a store of value like any currency. Its value is derived from its limited production. The total supply of Bitcoin is around 17 Million which can be mined.
Steem on the other hand aims at building a decentralised block chain for a social network like Facebook, Youtube, twitter etc. Its supply is much more than Bitcoin.
The biggest difference between Steem and Bitcoin is that Steem derives its value because of its use. Its practical applications provide it, its value. Thus it would be unjust to compare Steem with Bitcoin. Even though both are based on the Blockchain but both differ in nature completely.
In a common easy to understand language comparing Steem and Bitcoin is like comparing the Sun and Moon.
STEEM is a blockchain-based digital currency, like bitcoin, that allows users to store, send, and receive digital payments. However, Steem is not mined like bitcoin, nor is it intended as a spending currency. Instead, Steem is earned on the Steemit social media network through contributing to the platform
That's a good question, but there's actually also a good reason why it's difficult to get an account for free. It all has to do with the fact that all transactions on the blockchain uses resources, so someone has to pay for them. Right now we get bandwidth that regenerates based on how much Steem Power we have on our account. It will be changed to another system in the next hardfork, so keep an eye out for that.
Anyway, this means that all new accounts need to have a certain amount of Steem Power to actually be able to use the blockchain, and where does this come from?
Right now Steemit Inc. is using their own funds to delegate Steem Power to new users who sign up on steemit.com. Since it costs money for them to create accounts, they want to manually approve them in order to prevent situations where people create a thousand accounts and upvote themselves (that would get them control of 14,000 SP!).
So that's why it's difficult to get a Steem account without paying for it. Luckily there are some proposed changes to this in the next hardfork, which will allow people to mine their own account. Hopefully things will be a bit more manageable once it is released.
Its good for the platform to get the Steem Acoount as soon as possible, but think about a volume of people trying to get into Steem. Guys who are manually approving have to go through a lot of accounts and then approve. Approving because they also have to delegate 15 SP once you create the account on Steemit.
I think for a full time steemian job you need a good reputation and atleast $10000 worth of investment in Steem SBD or steem, this will be used for upvoting blog posts with vote bots, even if your content is great without this investment your blog will be lost in the crowd unfortunately.
Things would have to change pretty drastically before that would even be an option for me. Right now some people can make a living one week, but not the next week. If we get a rather stable price, then sure, I guess I could try it. But I'm far away from a point where I would be comfortable with quitting my job for Steem.
I guess in a developing country like India $350 in a month is more than enough for living a peaceful life. If it provides that I will be happy to leave the job and be a full time steemian
A number of people claimed to have done this when the price of Steem was very high just after Christmas. Its very risky as the price of Steem is so volatile but there is no reason that income produced by Steeming couldn't be a big part of a diverse range of online activities all earning a little money.
I recently quit my Drone Pilot job back in February and havent been working a "regular" job since. I still make money freelancing here and there but I can say the bulk of my income comes for Power Down of my account.
It does help that it's stupid cheap to live where i live plus I live with my "babushka" so i practically can survive of Good Boy Points if i want.
I dont plan to rely fully on Steem though. It's always wise to diversify one's income and living where i live now doesnt give me much prospect. A change is imminent.
Steemit I consider as a medium that can accommodate my desire to share knowledge. The gift from upvote is not my target, if I can not refuse it either. For now steemit still to fill my spare time I do not know fore. Leaving a job for full time in stemit I have never thought about, and there is no desire to do so. If we can divide the time, work and steemit both we can do.
I don't see steemit as a full time job, more like as a complementary income which at this moment happens to pay way better than what my real life job does. And even if I start making some serious serious $ on steemit I'd prefer to keep my job just in case :)
You're right about this. And it's even risky with the ability to selfvote for $20 every few hours, because the value of Steem could decrease down to a level where you are unable to support yourself even with that much Steem Power.
I would definitely be able to leave my Steemit service, but for this I suppose Steemit should be very stable and reach a minimum of $ 10. Anyway in general the money you earn online reinvests in several projects. If you win good money from Steemit, the money you earn must be reinvested to have more income sources. You can not rely on only a source of income. I hope you look for other sources outside the job. Even the live service can be lost .
Hopefully one day, with more and more apps supporting the users of Steemit as time goes on it looks like it will be easier for someone to spend a full day on Steemit doing what they love!
Just like anything though it takes hard work and patience to get there. Getting your own Steem Power up is the hardest part.
Well i'm on vacation so i don't go outside of my house to have fun with friends and other things like that , but i enjoy being here within this huge community to make myself a part of it and grow bigger and bigger so i don't have to work under someone becuase i'll be a boss myself here when i have lot of potential to work here
I consider steemit as a medium that can accommodate my desire to share knowledge. The gift from upvote is not my target, if I can not refuse it either. For now steemit is still to fill my leisure time. I do not know in the future. Leaving a job for full time in stemit I have never thought about, and there is no desire to do so. If we can divide the time between work and steemit both we can do.
The "promoted" tab on Steemit is not really living up to its potential at all. Most people don't really look at it, so money spent on promotions are pretty much wasted. However, one important thing is that money spent on promoting things are sent to @null, which means that the SBD is burned. This is very good for the Steem ecosystem, so we would all benefit from it if more people used the Steemit promotion. So, how would you personally change this to have a better impact? Let's make some great suggestions, and maybe Steemit Inc. will listen?
Having promoted as a tab sucks, thats not how advertising is done. Ads aren't placed all by themselves in a place. Nobody would go there. Look at T.V. ads, they come in between shows. Thats how promoted needs to be done.
Rather than a tab, the promoted posts should show up in between posts in your feed, trending, like how other sites do it. It should be 1 promoted post ever 10 regular post. The goal with promoting is to get a bigger audience and that should do that.
The promoted tab is a very steemit thing though, so it can easily be avoided by using another frontend which won't show those posts for those who don't want to see them, so theres one issue. But some people do use promoted so we might as well help burn some steem and drive views their way.
There are many factors that indicate bitcoin will not only reach 20k, but also surpass it in the near future.
The bitcoin network is in its infancy still. First we must understand the potential size of the bitcoin network. The world population is around ~8 billion. If we take a smaller subset, restricted by internet users and age (15-64), we are left with ~2.4 billion. Currently, there are ~20M addresses associated with the bitcoin network. Each user can have multiple addresses, so in reality, the number of users could be much smaller (~2-20M users). This is between 0.083% - 0.83% of the 2.4 billion potential users. Of course not all 2.4B users are expected to use the network in the near future, but if we can even get 10% adoption (240 million users), then the expected price should rise to $120,000 - $1,200,000 (assuming it is a 1 to 1 function explained in the second point). Based on this we would need ~1.5-2% adoption to reach 20k with a 2m userbase (a very conservative estimate). More likely, if the userbase is somewhere in the middle (10M users), we would need 0.33% adoption.
The bitcoin network is growing rapidly. In the last 3 years the number of wallet addresses increased 20x and so did the price (1 to 1 function / linear). The number of wallet addresses each year increase by 30-115%. Based on the current growth rate, it will hit 1% adoption rate by the end of this year. Depending on the number of users we can estimate WHEN btc will hit 20k. My personal estimate would be between late 2018 - early 2019, but we have to wait for BTC to stabilize first (explained in the 4th point).
The overall marketcap is still very small and has a lot of room to grow. The US stock market is around 30 Trillion. Commdoities/Futures market is even bigger. The cryptoassets marketcap is currently ~250B and at its peak reached around 800B. This is still less than 1% of the US stock market and even smaller when compared to the global equities market. Due to the small size and illiquid market, retail investors (big hedge funds, banks, high net worth entities), have yet to enter the space. It is just a matter of time until this happens, as we have seen BTC futures introduced a couple months ago and potential ETF in the talks.
BTC follows a long term cycle. It can be shown that historically bitcoin decreases significantly after hitting all time highs. BTC hit an all time high (ATH) in June 2011 ($30) and then dropped 93% to $2. It then remained stable slowly increasing to $10. Then in April 2013, BTC again hit an all time high at around $213. 4 months later, price dropped to $60 (72% decrease). Then it remained stable until late 2014, when it spiked to a new ATH around $1000 per coin. Like the previous trends, BTC fell again over the next 4 months to $300 per coin (72% decrease). It then remained stable for almost an entire year, until Jan 2017 where the price started to increase more aggressively, reaching new all time high levels of 20k per coin (in Dec 2017 and Jan 2018). Now we are in the decline period, where BTC has declined to 5.5k (~70% decrease).
Following this long term cycle, I would expect BTC to hit new all time highs again, once the price has stabilized.
It has been seen that in the second half of the year Bitcoin always go up, and break the previous high or ATH, This time also technical indicator suggest that Bitcoin will break the previous high before December 2018.
The best time to get Steem Power is right now. And tomorrow. And the day after. And the day after that. And so forth.
Steem Power gives you more influence on the Steem blockchain, it gives you a great interest rate, and you can just lease it to someone if you don't want to use Steem for a while. So the best time to get Steem Power is anytime you have money.
And yeah, the price for Steem is low now, so it's a great buying opportunity.
We are all aware of the benefits of increasing SP so it does not matter when is the right time to power up because the earlier you power up the more you enjoy these benefits. If you do not have much to buy SP then timing your purchase is the right thing to do. You may but the dip but the question most people ask is if it is the bottom or not.
Right now, this is the best time, considering SP prices below $2. You can buy SP now and keep adding it when the price is cheap now.
Because when the price soars later, lets say the end of the year (and I'm sure about this), we can curate with a lot of content and produce something a lot too.
It might get some extra exposure, but I would not really advise anyone to spend their money on promoting their post (with Steemit promotion) right now. Most people just ignore the "Promoted" tab.
DSound is a web application that uses Steem Blockchain and where you can upload, listen and discover music and other sounds stored on top of the IPFS Network and earn rewards in Steem cryptocurrency.
To use it you just have to login on https://dsound.audio/ with your steem account and upload your sounds or musics, a steem blog post will be generated and will be available to steem users upvote for 7 days like any other steem post.
Diseases are not increasing in the human population. In certain areas of the world we are seeing increased occurrence of diet related diseases due to abundance of food available to the population.
The single biggest reason for our widespread diseases like cancer, diabetes and overweight is that we do not have to hunt anymore to eat food. I have seen a very good documentary about it yesterday, where it said that the human brain developed when we started to eat meat and developed huge again when we discovered fire. The big issue now is that we do not hunt anymore and we just do not have adapted our eating habits to our modern lifestyle.
Yes, there's definitely a lot of diseases that are caused or made worse from the today's diets. Cardiovascular diseases are probably the biggest one, but there's also lots of other things, such as cancer from carcinogenic food.
yeah, fast foods are all other foods that are made by many ingredients that we must not consume more than just enough they effect our health.
Like eating MAC or other Burgers which contains oily things and spicy ingredients they sure do lot of damage
From my point of view only the 50/50 option is ever useful! The SBD price is pegged at 1$ and should never fall under it. Even if it does you do have the option to convert SBD to Steem, like SBD is worth 1$. So always use 50/50 rewards. :)
This is becoming a more common question for today's modern computer science majors
You can get a broad selection form update summary with up todate methods, but not necessarily information on the latest setup or equipment which would naturally be patented and some kept confidential

Few years ago i used my school fees to buy bitcoin when the price was very cheap, now i made alot of profits and i was happy i made that decision back then
It depends on your time frame. If you want your account to grow big long-term, then I suggest buying Steem and power it up. If you just want to throw around some big upvotes for a while, then go ahead and lease a bunch of Steem Power.
I generally prefer to own rather than lease, and by owning the coins, you have full control of them. They are yours for as long as you want, and can always be used to make you some money.
Today is Independence Day in America, the day is about freedom. This makes me ponder what is freedom and do really have it? I would love it if you shared your thoughts.
Freedom for me is something where i can do whatever i want to without being stuck to a place because of my family responsibilities and i can quit my job if i dont like it, i can became anything i want to and i became financially independent
In my opinion Michael Jordan is greatest of all time. MJ led the league in scoring ten times while LeBron led the league in terms of scoring once. Of course with his killer instinct which means MJ rarely missed his shots during the clutch time. In fairness to LeBron he is a better rebounder and passer than MJ. LeBron averages 7 rebounds and 7 assists per game. Michael Jordan 6 rebounds and 6 assists per game. MJ never had a game eventhough they were swept at first round he became the leader of his team every night. I don't think LeBron became a good leader on his team instead he gave up on his team. LeBron is indeed the most dominant player today and he is the greatest right now no doubt about that.
MJ is 6-0 during the finals and 6 finals MVP. 2 times 3PEAT and played in a strong conference. LeBron got 8 finals appearance. We all know East is wack. No one could stop LeBron in the east. Now that he is the WEST let's see if LeBron could make the Lakers into the finals. LeBron already stained his legacy so he is out to the GOAT conversation. He is indeed in the top 10 hall of famer.
They are not my favorite players but I like both of them because they both made basketball famous especially here in the Philippines and their achievements are both God like lol.
So this is a tough answer but I would go with Michael Jordan simply because of the rings and Jordan never lost in the finals.
In terms of individual stats though, Lebron was the better one because he's breaking every record in and out.
If I was the CEO of steemit, all that I would have power is what steemit is developing for the steem blockchain and the front end, steemit and the signup process.
Steemit doesn't completely control the STEEM blockchain. While they do most of the development right now, they aren't the entire thing. The witnesses are the ones who decide what changes to make on the blockchain.
Now if I did get that position, I would try and focus development on SMTs and the look and feel of the site, especially on mobile. With a large percentage of users in developing counties using the site on mobile, it should definitely be beneficial to the ecosystem to have a properly working mobile site. It sucks on mobile as of writing this(July 24, 2018). A mobile app officially released would be great as well.
SMTs would allow for new developments and communities on the steem blockchain. New businesses can come up with great things to do with their newly created tokens as well as help bring up the price of STEEM.
Signups are getting improved with Velocity, and I think they are already working on making it better so no need to focus on that.
So to everyone who wants to remove that 7 day payout, its just no possible by becoming the CEO of steemit. You need to convince the witnesses to make that change. You can even propose it right now if you would like to see it. Maybe even write it up yourself.
But if you want to make any chance on the steem blockchain, you can do so right now. Just make a suggestion in the github: https://github.com/steemit/steem or make a pull request with your changes. You just need to convince enough of the witnesses to make that change.
I would create some kind of wallet mode, just for transactions easy to get, like a ether wallet or so, because I think the tokens would be more scalable if you wouldn't need to have a steemit account to transfer them.
@Tiger-zaps already pointed out one very good issue about unique questions. in addition to that i would like to see who upvoted my question or answer similar to steem and if possible i would want to improve on my comments in steem side. i have 960 followers and people who visit my profile on steem do not seem to interact with my answers given on musing. if there was a better approach i would push for that.
This is an extremely difficult question to answer. I think people have the right to do what they want with their own lives. But they MUST take into consideration , the feelings of their friends and family.
Some people have been mentally or physically hurt so severely that people around them who have hope for them could never understand their pain. And although it is always good to hope for life and recovery, in some cases the pain may be too great and they will live in extreme torture.
The following is very graphic and NSFW. Do not read on if you are sensitive and may be distrubed by certain content.
After reading that , an extreme case what do you think?
People should always try to be brave, if not for themselves for the ones who want them to survive and who depend on them. They should hang on as long as they can.
I believe in hope and to be optimistic as well as to help no matter what but in the end it should be up to the person to be the judge of his or her own life.
What is your view on suicide? Utilizing the word "view" implies subjective opinion. In other words, you're presupposing that there is no definitive correct answer to the question. Which is fine, but it's important to recognize the distinction in order to properly answer the subsequent questions.
Is it wrong or right? Okay, you started off with "what's your opinion", then immediately jumped right into a question on ethics and morality. In order for concepts like right and wrong to have any value, they require (A) that certain absolute truths are knowable (ie, NOT a matter of opinion) and (B) that those truths are based upon an authority that is higher than ourselves (ie, God).
If you attempt to extend attributes of "right" or "wrong" to a situation without a basis for truth and authority, you're basically just talking out your butt. So back to the first question: "What is your view...?" If it's an opinion you seek, then you're better off leaving "right" and "wrong" out of it. What you really want to know is if it's "good/bad" or "better/worse". These are relative measurements that can easily adapt to the individual, family, society, region, or government. What's good for one person may be bad for someone else.
Do we have the right to end our lives? Wow, I guess it depends on what you mean by "right". In the previous question, "right" referred to a moral correctness. Now it seems you're using the word to indicate a legal or self-evident empowerment that allows you to self-terminate without judgement of wrong-doing.
I suppose you'd have to define from where your "rights" derive. Is it from God? The government? Nature? Your own personal sense of self-worth?
Here's the deal: You've got two ways to handle questions like this. Now, keep in mind, that this is dependent on a strict understanding of what you mean by "suicide". For the purposes of answering the question, I'm going to assume you mean suicide as a direct result of depression or something similar.
In other words, we're not talking about a heroic soldier leaping onto a live grenade to protect his comrades from danger. Or anyone who sacrifices their life for the benefit of others.
We're talking about someone who just wants to end it all because they want the emotional pain to stop.
Okay, so back to the two ways to handle it. Either there is a higher power (ie, God) that provides meaning, purpose, and rules (right/wrong) to the whole show, or there's not.
If there's NOT a higher power, then morality is what you make of it. Your "rights" are defined in any way you see fit. And like your thoughts on this subject, your feelings are nothing more than chemical responses that result from random events that have no meaning other than that they resulted in our existence. In which case, the majority of people frown at suicide because it subconsciously reminds them of their own mortality. Of course, most of us empathize, but few (within the context of a Godless universe) are able to logically explain why we should care one way or the other. At least, not in any meaningful way.
If you're in this category, you're best bet is to identify that your thoughts and emotions cannot be trusted. Seek help from a professional who can get your head screwed on right. Once you're thinking straight, you can then decide what to do next. After all, you don't want to make drastic choices when your judgement is impaired.
If there IS a God, then your answer is simple. You have value. You have purpose. And you should definitely not take your own life, because it is fundamentally wrong. The wrongness of it is etched clearly on your soul, and any attempt to justify it is easily recognizable as an "easy way out". To end your life prematurely is to cut short the potential that God saw in you.
Solution: Don't stop fighting. Don't stop seeking help. Don't stop breathing and eating and taking another step. There is a reason for your existence, and it is not so you can die.
In sociology, there are two situations that cause a person to commit suicide, namely the internal factors themselves and external factors of the external environment.
Whatever the cause of someone committing suicide, there are always parties who agree and not. I myself did not approve of suicide. The reasons underlying my thinking are divided into two groups, namely, the first reason for universal norms and values in the community, and second is religious views on suicides.
The most common view of suicide is that a person cannot commit suicide, for any reason.
If we know someone's suicide plan then our good morals will definitely make us try to prevent that from happening. Some opinions why prohibited suicide is:
1. Suicide means to waste life that is owned and very contrary to human reason because in its nature man is born to continue to fight for his life,
not stop his life.
2. Suicide actions have the potential to harm others, starting with family, relatives and fellow victims. The abandoned family will certainly feel very lost with the departure of the victim, especially by knowing the case of suicide the family is far more sad.
Suicide can cause feelings of guilt in the family of the victim or the people closest to him and can interfere with the survival of others. Other than that, suicides can also cause other people to be suspected of motivating the act of suicide and making it deal with the law. Special Cases when a person lives alone and all members of his family are dead and he wants to commit suicide, this is also not justified because suicide is not a way out at all to face a problem, there must be things that can still be done to save the person from the problem.
We absolutely have the right to end our own lives. I have suffered from suicidal depression my entire life and it took me a long time to really understand it. I think it's also something that's extremely difficult for people who don't suffer from it to understand.
It can be incredibly painful and unbearable at times. We can't control it. And I think that people have the right to end that pain if need be. I am by NO MEANS condoning suicide; but I do not see it as a selfish act whatsoever. People with chronic depression cannot control it, and it often has no relation to how "successful" or whatever is going on in their life. It is, not in all but in many like myself, a neurological condition. One in which your brain literally fights you, not always constantly, but frequently.
It's very difficult to understand unless you have lived through it. Many people live with it their entire lives, leading successful, happy lives; but it still ultimately wins. Look at Anthony Bordain, or Kate Spade, or Robin Williams. All very successful and happy people, leading very full lives with the world at their fingertips, who suffered from a neurological battle to stay alive. Ultimately, they lost, but they also were probably in a *lot* of pain.
Again, I am by no means condoning suicide. But I think it is that person's choice. It can be unbearable, and it is ultimately up to them. It is not right, it is not wrong. But it *certainly* is not selfish. I think that's a guilt we should not put on people battling a fight for their lives.
There is no 'right' and there is no 'wrong'; we are sovereign mistresses and masters of our destiny and as such are able and entitled to end our physical existence should we wish it.
However, there are consequences that are inescapable and which make the act of suicide utterly unattractive.
I have chosen my life and the basic set of experiences that I encounter through situations throughout. I have done this in order to learn from experience and to grow. Growth takes place once I have understood my experiences and assimilated their lessons. This life is but one of many, akin to taking different classes at a school or university, life after life continually expanding and growing.
However, bailing out early through an act of suicide simply means that I will have to return and repeat some of the experiences in order to learn from them, rather than run away. It is this awareness of consequence that makes suicide such an unattractive prospect. Everything passes, everything changes, as will the suicidal state of mind. Dawn after all, comes immediately after the darkest part of the night!
Most people commit suicide due to depression, but no matter what problems anyone is facing iin my own
opinion i believe that it is bad for him or her to end our lives, suicide is not the best option......Well we were
created by the almighty God and according to what he said in the bible, the bible made us to understand that suicide is a sin and so when you commit suicide you
have also sinned against God and also committing suicide will put your loved ones into a situation that will make them feel very hurt after loosing you so before you
commit suicide you need to think about the consequences and you need to realize that when there is life there is still hope....but also the truth is that most of
those people that commit suicide never wished to do it personally but the depression is just too much for them to handle and sucide becomes the best option they
think they have, please anyone no matter the depression you are facing, please talk to someone about it so that you can help, and also we all need to start having the
habit of helping depressed people around us,we should show them genuine love and do our best to assist them to get out of the depression...
I always get amazed and shocked whenever i hear that someone commits suicide,i do not think
it is right for anybody to take their own life with their hands because it is not right at all, though those that usuallly commit suicide do it out of
frustration due to life challenges, some do it because they are so depressed and so tired of life, but no matter what anyone is facing i will
advice them not to think of suicide because suicide will not solve the challenges they are facing, infact it adds to the problem...
do you eat chicken ? fish ? what's life ? ... i think these are totally non yes/no questions , you can't just go yes / no on abortion. Are we talking rape ? A moral decision where you know the child will be born with a severe handicap that will make life hell in a world like this ? Are we talking teen moms who are very unlikely of being able to raise a child into responsibility ?
I mean, if you want to drive a moped you need a license but every single yokel in the place (pardon my french can have kids)
I personally had an ex of mine abort on the very last legal day (thats three months here), way after i saw the ultrasound , i heard the heartbeat ... about 180bpm i think it was a d&b fan already, saw it move ... so , is that life ?
Also it wasn't an accident, what in case of unwanted, do you really want to force people to raise a kid they don't want ? I mean there's a reason sociopaths exist and its not purely genetical is it ?
I think its a personal decision but if people abuse it for all i care they should get sterilized ... you cant just go about getting pregnant and aborting it every time either can you ?
harsh ? i dont know, i can't answer yes or no, i would have to weigh my own morals versus the specific situation , thats why paper law is always total crud, it's always yes or no, and if it should be its always based on the mood of the judge that day
Yep, I like the site. I think it will do well as it grows. It is definitely easier to answer questions than create full posts or massive quality comments.
Well ... i do think the big content dictators up in the sky of whales assume its just that simple while they really dont cos they came into the game with money, its a great place to go when you're low on inspiration, or simply a great place to go. Minds.com looked good too but there's not much to earn there yet so, ... time is limited, right ?
Well, I think you answered that in your question. "Do we have the right to end a life?"..... Any logical person will say NO.
The debate is when does life begin. In my opinion and from a Biblical view, it is at the moment of conception, so therefore abortion is wrong. This shapes some of my political habits as well, if a candidate thinks abortion is moral then that candidate does not get my vote.
well i'm not a very biblical person but i know a thing or two about it after more than six years of catholic school ...
i prefer the old testament god when it comes to christianity but i call myself polytheist agnostic since
unlike believers or atheists i can not convince myself that i "know" the truth ... because i dont ... atheists are believers too, they accept it without proof that there's nothing, one and the same if you ask me ...
so as an agnost, and a polytheist there's room for every god, but i'm always weary of "the one true" ones
they're usually dictators ... i dont know who bumped to $5 on a comment lol but
if my opinion gets me that once a day i can say no to the state AND the employers lobby, id be an opinionated, independent being
thats probably scary ... i didnt even notice until i saw the payout like ...
it sure comes in handy ... every bit counts to a byte, every byte to a word and words
i have a lot of those haha haaaah
if you like the musing dapp check out minds.com ... its on a totally different blockchain, if you get rewards there its nothing to do with here ... if you got the time to be on both
its a double whammy as long as you dont have apathy
The Musing group bumped your post. It was exceptional quality btw.
I'm going to have to check out minds.com as well.
BTW if you have any great questions for Quora I'm in their partner program and get paid to post questions and send them to possible experts in the specific field. If you think of any really good ones post the question on Musing and PM me in the Discord and I'll post it to Quora. It is extremely difficult to come up with really good original questions on Quora.
I know few things about subscription not like first to activate it his pack by sending given steem or SBD then they upvote daily in your 1 post but I want know it is profitable or not.
I dedicated 15 Steem to MB
I get 0.005-0.009 SBD every day from my allocation.
If i put the average daily pay out 0.007 SBD then in 365 days i get 0.007 * 365 =
2.5 SBD
For 15 Steem Power i had to invest around 20 SBD so in 10 Years I can recover my investment and reap in profit.
It might look like a very meagre profit to you but if you consider that fact that without the allocation that Steem Power would stay idle in my account because of the allocation I am getting something as incentive for holding my Steem Power and not cashing it out.
In my opinion, I think it is kind of similar to bid bots. They are not healthy for this platform but however, we will be able to get something out of it. The most interesting factor about using Minnowbooster or Smartsteem is that, if you sometimes don't have enough time to spend in steemit by reading and upvoting post, you can sell your votes in any of these two platforms to earn you few dollars.
I have set my votes to be sold if it goes beyond 90 %. I always maintain my voting power from 80 to 90 %. There will be few days where I will not be able to spend enough time to read or upvote other posts. During those days, minnowbooser and smartsteem does the job for me and pay me decent returns for the same.
Depending on what you want. If you want to win automatically without work: "it's worth it." If you want to tie your friends, post and read then it's better to invest these steem power in the articles read, and the reward will be higher in time, and at the same time, you will make people who will read you and give you a reward. by upvote
I think it is a person's right to do what they want with their own life. It also depends on how painful the suffering is. Some terminally ill sufferer's go through so much, and even though the people around them have hope, those people do not understand the actual pain involved that someone would want to give up even when they have the full support of others to keep living.

I think EOS has the potential to overtake Ethereum at one point, if it's able to do all the things that was said about it (such as communication between blockchains).
I have been to lots of beaches. I live in a city located in coastal region. I have good opportunity to visit beaches. It gives a wonderful feeling to visit beach and listen to the non-stop sounds of the waves. There are different types of beaches in my area and some of the beaches are lonely where it will just be only you standing there and enjoying. It gives a great feeling.
Yes I have. And it was an awesome experience, I went with family and friends, it was nice playing in the water, I really do love water, i found it difficult leaving the water, wanted to cry when we were about to leave....it was really nice because I bonded with my sister that have not seen for a while and it's one experience I won't forget soon
I also was in many beaches in S.Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Ireland, Turkey... The best one for me was Gili Island in Indonesia. There are fantastic spots for diving/snorkling to see sea turtles.
Yes, In NJ and Japan. I like the beaches when there are a lot less people around and Its just the water you and whoever you came with. When there are tons of people around It kinda ruins the aesthetic of a beach.
Yes I have been to only one beach and i.e. GOA. Goa is visited by large numbers of tourists from India as well as abroad for its white sand beautiful beaches, nightlife. Mostly russian visits GOA a lot.
Yes I have been to a number of beaches. Goa, Mumbai, Mauritius. My experience has been very good overall. Goa is best if you want to enjoy waves. Bagga Beach in Goa has the best waves in India. Mauritius has one the cleanest beaches. For scuba diving Mauritius is the ideal spot. Best time to visit a beach is after monsoon season till the start of summer.
Has BTC reached the bottom?
I had hoped that we had seen the bottom, but I'm afraid that we have not.
What is the best DNA polymerase to use in a PCR reaction where one wants high fidelity (low error rate), IE for the purpose of amplifying a gene out of genomic DNA?
This is the sort of question one would find on researchgate
There is a 2014 study which looked into the fidelity of 6 commonly used polymerases. Here is the link: https://www.hindawi.com/journals/mbi/2014/287430/
This 2017 study (https://academic.oup.com/nar/article/24/18/3546/2359477) found that Pfu DNA polymerase achieved the best fidelity.
Oh, wow, really cool! Thanks for the lesson :)
I'd suggest Taq polymerase. Works fine even in sequencing
Nope, Taq is a poor suggestion due to its high error rate (about 1/1000 nucleotides)
Why does Steem prohibit upvotes in the last 12 hours of the award period?
But how does the delay actually prevent this problem?
I believe the problem was that people were voting a lot within this 12 hour period so that not as many people would notice and be able to call them out on it. If a whale constantly upvoted the same user in the last 10 minutes, almost no one would be able to catch them doing it. Same would apply to downvotes.
Is there any evidence that it's not still happening, just 12 hours earlier?
The upvotes are a matter of public record so if "call them at it" is still possible, if somebody cares. to look.
Why do you think steem will have a bright future?
The best has yet to come!
Steem is a very flexible platform with many potential use cases that can be built on it. It is really up to the developers imagination.
Next, Steem is one of the few projects that we actual see people actively using it and promoting it.
These 2 reasons alone are enough to justify the bright future which I foresee for Steem.
Steem will have a bright future because more
investors are investing on steem, steem is getting
popular each day because many people now see the the benefit they will get from their investments
on a good cryptocurrency like steem, there are so many good projects using the steem market
which means that there is still going to be more
demands on the steem market, when a
cryptocurrency gets many demands it makes the cryptocurrency to worth more and become more
popular and better choice for cryptocurency investors...:
I think no beacause all are earning money by using bots only
Steem has a very good future because they are running many different programs and daily updated the team is very good the project behind this is very good and i always says if the project is good you can invest in it and be safe for long term.
It is very special project cant be lost.
What are some good ways to promote a site like musing?
Since there are so many benefits to using the platform, as users what can we do to shoot it into the mainstream?
Just stay active on it, do your part by answering queries. A good platform with substance will always survive. People dint promote Quora, its content did its marketing. As long as the content stays relevant to someone's search the traffic is bound to come.
Have patience and let it grow. Word of mouth is the best publicity any platform can get. I don't think I ever saw an Advertisement for Google Search Engine on Television but still it is the best.
However Celebrity interviews, Q& A sessions could prove to be a big publicity stunt for Musing. That would be a good marketing ploy. But still after that you need to have substance.
Why can you not delete posts?
Why can't you delete a post after someone has upvoted or commented on it ?
Could it be because of the rewards ?
This option could come in the next hardfork. some announcements are spreadly out already so it will be coming laters this year.
the form of permanent and no developers for changes on the website and application.
you can edit the post on steemit , title and tags as you are not able to delete a post , the previous post will still on blockchain but the viewers are not able to see it .
When will we experience the next crypto currency bull run?
Days, weeks, months or a year?
the next crypto currency bull run will come once the institutional investors enter the market and the bitcoin future contract team will stop manipulating crypto market.
I hope we get another one in the meantime though.
we dont know for sure
but my prediction id that in 2 months
It'll be very soon. It started
I'm not certain that the small rise we have seen the last few days is really the start of a bull run. But we will soon find out ;)
Please read this answer after the bull run start;
Now
Obviously no one can really know. I do hope that it happens during autumn this year, like the year before, but we will find out soon enough.
How does Bandwidth work on steemit ?
I don't understand how Bandwith works on steemit.
Could anyone explain it to me ? and everyone else with the same problem
It won't after Sept. 25. I just recently read on a @steemitblog post that hardfork 20 is switching from bandwidth to resource credits.
Got over a million worth of Bitcoin, but forgot the password to the wallet. What to do?

That would mean that it would take 1.13 years for anyone to crack anyone's, breaking bitcoin entirely
there is only one way to recover password that i cant tell you in this public answer
Your friend just need to sit down and try his best to remember it. There's not a single thing that can be done about it unless he magically remembers it again.
keep trying to remember the forgotten password ;)
Practice mindfulness for ten years. Train yourself to enter your deep subconscious and search your mind for the password that you forgot.
Forget that you got a million worth of Bitcoin, LOL
You and your friend lose all of them. Nothing you can do.
That why bitcoin is very very secure.
In your turn promise me to get half of the half your friend will give you and i will tell you how to recover his wallet ;) :D

How would Steem compete with EOS?
It's very easy to move dapps already running on Steem to EOS by writing smart contract. I know there will be SMT sometime, but I think the development takes too long, no clear timeline and most of all, writing smart contract on EOS can beat the almost every single feature SMT provides.
How you guys think about this?

I think the more important think to improve is the registration process so it can compare to other blockchain platforms
steem is only decentralised blockchain with social media platform having huge fan following and i dont think its eaiser for eos for such kind of mass adoption but its not impossible although. and eos have some technologies which steem can copy to make them up in the market
If there is more involvement, it will definitely compete with Eos

1-10 how much do you love Musing.io ?
On a scale from 1-10 how much do you love this site called Musing.io ?
also what should we do to promote this site ?
I can say , since I logged in today, I am in love with Musing.io aka @musing, this is really a great app, which has the potential to surpass all other apps built on steem blockchain.
I'd give it a 9+.
It's a great way to earn steem plus it's highly interactive and fun to use.
Only downside is the comment ranking as the one with the had highest upvote is the feature answer.
Pretty innovative
Has great prospects

This is my second day on here, but I like the site already. I love the fact that you can search out questions that interest you, give your honest-to-god answers on them, and earn steem.
So for that, I would also rate musing an 8
At the moment I'd give it a 7 as well, mostly because I haven't used it enough to really get a good feel. I think it's a great app and a great idea as well.
Development behind it looks promising and the website itself is very smooth and clean.
Looks like its going to have a bright future!
I will give it a 7.
7 for the great idea
Take off 3 points will give musing the room to become the best steem app
I just signed up today, still finding my way round it but so far I will rate it 7.Its simple to use, am loving the experience so far.

✅ @musing-threads, I gave you an upvote on your first post! Please give me a follow and I will give you a follow in return!
Please also take a moment to read this post regarding bad behavior on Steemit.
How Musing can solve different language problem?
If Musing wants to improve, it must support the other languages except English. Musing need to create different posts for different languages so users can ask and answer with their own language under the posts.
I suppose this could be solved pretty easily by adding a forced language tag when asking questions.
well i dont thik so it solved any problem
What is your favorite gaming console?
What is your favorite gaming console of all time?
View this answer on Musing.io
For PS VR, actually from 2015, guys. But only this time SONY released a VR-based device guys. If you really like 3D things, just buy this device.
Prices sold in Indonesia are pretty good, ranging from 6 million. Hmm, with that price you can immediately enjoy playing games with VR made by SONY. The design is cool, relying on just a few colors has made this device far more elegant.
Check out my latest stint in Assassin's Creed: https://steemit.com/games/@ade-greenwise/just-a-bit-of-parkour-thru-revolutionary-paris-game-night
Playstation 4
The game I love to play is the GTA game, it explains a great mafia
Call me crazy or call me weird.
I love my PS2
PS2 had a lot of great games though! I have great memories from playing on the PS2 back in the days :)
My favorite is my good, old Nintendo 64. It just had so many great games on it! It's actually still the only older generation game console that is still plugged in to my TV.
My Favorite Gaming Console is Play Station.
Which ps? :P
One to do some coding and another is to play some of my favourite game via steam.
i dont have gaming console as i cant afford it but i love playing PUBG on phone
didn't know you could play that on mobile, did they just release it?
Ps2 is my favorite, had all the best games of my childhood. But currently my PS4 pro.
What are the tools to succeed in steemit?
There is no short cut to be successful on Steemit platform. One have to be consistent and patience.
There are few tips while implementing on that one can be grow on this platform:-
Make new friends!
This is the biggest tool to work at any platform to build your online carries is just make new friends and ask upvote from each other and comment from each other. Do this constantly for 25-30 days you will see the result automatically and you will get new friends even to help you.
Does a high reputation score mean a higher voting power?
Does it mean that your reputation score determines your voting power potency
No it does not.
Voting power is determined by your steem powere and your voting power.
Steem power you can see in your wallet
and to see voting power there are different sites for it.
I like steemnow.com
However, that only applies to Steemit.com, and not the other Steem interfaces.
yes your vote has a value and you can upvote yourself also and whales also upvote and comment on high reputation accounts only
no.
As far as I know, I have answered this question.
Reputation score is given upvote received on articles,
The upvote power is given by the power up investment (Steem) and the reward gained from the articles. So it is not related to one another.
No, voting power only have to be with the vests do you have
What is different bitween steem and bitcoin?
Bitcoins main purpose is to be valuable and known.
Its main priority is to be looket at as a value, as a currency.
Steem is a crypto that offers rewards for people who interact in social media
bitcoin is father and steem is one of the thousands of son of father.
STEEM is a blockchain-based digital currency, like bitcoin, that allows users to store, send, and receive digital payments. However, Steem is not mined like bitcoin, nor is it intended as a spending currency. Instead, Steem is earned on the Steemit social media network through contributing to the platform
Why is a steemit account still so difficult to get without payment?
Wouldn't it be good for the platform if it was easier to get an account?
Good news, thank you for the info!
You're welcome :)
Its good for the platform to get the Steem Acoount as soon as possible, but think about a volume of people trying to get into Steem. Guys who are manually approving have to go through a lot of accounts and then approve. Approving because they also have to delegate 15 SP once you create the account on Steemit.

Will you quit your job and be Full Time Steemian?
If given a chance Will you quit your job and be Full Time Steemian, and why?
View this answer on Musing.io
I think for a full time steemian job you need a good reputation and atleast $10000 worth of investment in Steem SBD or steem, this will be used for upvoting blog posts with vote bots, even if your content is great without this investment your blog will be lost in the crowd unfortunately.
That's absolutely true, thanks
Will i quit?
That's absolutely true, thanks.
Only steemit pay me enough to quit the job
Crypto is never stable.
Everything can happen, keep your jobs unless you got an 20$ vote for yourself every couple of hours :D
You're right about this. And it's even risky with the ability to selfvote for $20 every few hours, because the value of Steem could decrease down to a level where you are unable to support yourself even with that much Steem Power.
20$ every couple of hours is like a dream
I would definitely be able to leave my Steemit service, but for this I suppose Steemit should be very stable and reach a minimum of $ 10. Anyway in general the money you earn online reinvests in several projects. If you win good money from Steemit, the money you earn must be reinvested to have more income sources. You can not rely on only a source of income. I hope you look for other sources outside the job. Even the live service can be lost .
Reinvesting is a good option.
i will if i am able to earn 200 dollar in a month because if i became full time steemian then i will able to spend whole quality time at it
Yeah that can be easily achieved.

How can we improve the "Promoted" tab on Steemit?
Will Bitcoin reach $20,000 again, if yes then when?
Yes in next 4 month maybe 6
I do not think that bitcoin will reach 20000$ again but it all depends on the power of demand and supply,it is possible for it reach that price though

When is the best time to acquire steem power?
When is the best time to buy steempower, is it at dip or rise in the market
Like other people are saying, the best time to acquire Steem Power is right now!
The more Steem Power you have the more you will get in the future :).
You may but the dip but the question most people ask is if it is the bottom or not.
right now are the best time.Steem will up fast now.
Right now, this is the best time, considering SP prices below $2. You can buy SP now and keep adding it when the price is cheap now.
Because when the price soars later, lets say the end of the year (and I'm sure about this), we can curate with a lot of content and produce something a lot too.
Does promoted on steemit ever worked?
It might get some extra exposure, but I would not really advise anyone to spend their money on promoting their post (with Steemit promotion) right now. Most people just ignore the "Promoted" tab.
Don't ever waste your money on it. It doesn't work. You might try buy votes for your post to get more exposure.
What is Dsound and how use it?
If You Know Dsound Then Share It To Us
DSound is a web application that uses Steem Blockchain and where you can upload, listen and discover music and other sounds stored on top of the IPFS Network and earn rewards in Steem cryptocurrency.
To use it you just have to login on https://dsound.audio/ with your steem account and upload your sounds or musics, a steem blog post will be generated and will be available to steem users upvote for 7 days like any other steem post.
DSound is like SoundCLoud but for steemit blockhain.
You can earn some sweet money while uploading sick beats.
Are diseases increasing because of today's eating habits?

Why do I have different payout options and which should I use as a minnow?
From my point of view only the 50/50 option is ever useful! The SBD price is pegged at 1$ and should never fall under it. Even if it does you do have the option to convert SBD to Steem, like SBD is worth 1$. So always use 50/50 rewards. :)
Because you like it.
Always 50/50 unless STEEM less than 1 USD
What is a good physics book to learn about laser cooling techniques?
For a graduate student, preferably something recently written so it's modern and up to date with latest improvements and technologies
This is becoming a more common question for today's modern computer science majors
You can get a broad selection form update summary with up todate methods, but not necessarily information on the latest setup or equipment which would naturally be patented and some kept confidential

What does Freedom mean to you?
Today is Independence Day in America, the day is about freedom. This makes me ponder what is freedom and do really have it? I would love it if you shared your thoughts.
Freedom for me is something where i can do whatever i want to without being stuck to a place because of my family responsibilities and i can quit my job if i dont like it, i can became anything i want to and i became financially independent
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It sounds like Financial Freedom is your goal. I wishes you success in all your endeavors.
Who is the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan or LeBron James and why's that?
Do you think steem will surpass bitcoin someday?
No,not at all. Unless something really bad happens with the Bitcoin blockchain, and it is essentially ruined.
Have you ever made up to 100steem on any topic before on steemit?
No I haven't.
The highest I've made was around $5.
But I know I will soon
If you are given the opportunity to become the CEO of steemit just for a day, what would you love to change about the steemit platform?
There's not really a lot that can be done in a single day, but I would definitely ask the team to update the user interface for Steemit.com.
If you are given an opportunity to become the admin on musing.io,what is that thing you would want to change or develop?
@Tiger-zaps already pointed out one very good issue about unique questions. in addition to that i would like to see who upvoted my question or answer similar to steem and if possible i would want to improve on my comments in steem side. i have 960 followers and people who visit my profile on steem do not seem to interact with my answers given on musing. if there was a better approach i would push for that.
You can choose to publish the answers on your blog feed if you want to ;) That way all your followers can see the questions you answered.
What is your view on suicide? Is it wrong or right? Do we have the right to end our lives?
This is an extremely difficult question to answer. I think people have the right to do what they want with their own lives. But they MUST take into consideration , the feelings of their friends and family.
Some people have been mentally or physically hurt so severely that people around them who have hope for them could never understand their pain. And although it is always good to hope for life and recovery, in some cases the pain may be too great and they will live in extreme torture.
The following is very graphic and NSFW. Do not read on if you are sensitive and may be distrubed by certain content.
Here is the case of Hisashi Ouichi (https://icantbelieveitsnonfiction.com/2018/02/14/hisashi-ouchi-and-masato-shinohara/)
This is just my opinion
Well, that's a loaded question.
Actually, it's three very distinct questions:

No because by suicide you hurt all of your close ones aswell
Suicide should not be an option for anybody
because suicide is never the solutions to any problem we face in life because we do not even
know where we are going after death,we do not know what will happen thereafter, some people
need to understand that when there is life there is hope because nothing in this world cannot have a
solution,no matter the problem you are facing you can still solve the problems if you are patient
enough to go through those challenges and overcome them...
Suicide
I personally think suicide is a proof of a person's cowardliness
I don't think suicide is killing your own life, I think suicide is being a coward running to your problem
Letting your problems take your life wasn't that good. You only show that you can't endure the problem you are facing at the moment.
Is Suicide right or wrong?
Definitely suicide is wrong, how can you even think that killing yourself is right?
You were a murderer if you kill. Killing yourself for me is also an act of murder
Do we have the right to kill ourselves?
No, you will be entitled in my eyes as a murdered. A murderer who kill himself
What is your view on abortion? Do we have the right to end a life?
do you eat chicken ? fish ? what's life ? ... i think these are totally non yes/no questions , you can't just go yes / no on abortion.
I think its a personal decision but if people abuse it for all i care they should get sterilized ... you cant just go about getting pregnant and aborting it every time either can you ?
harsh ? i dont know, i can't answer yes or no, i would have to weigh my own morals versus the specific situation , thats why paper law is always total crud, it's always yes or no, and if it should be its always based on the mood of the judge that day
isn't it ...
so to answer your question i'd say
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mu_(negative)
does thing have markdown ? [Mu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mu_(negative)
thank you @coinsandchains for talking about this site, its a vast steemverse, i'm always looking for more places to pour my brain out
Yep, I like the site.
What is subscription bot?
I know few things about subscription not like first to activate it his pack by sending given steem or SBD then they upvote daily in your 1 post but I want know it is profitable or not.
Is Vote Selling at Minnowbooster profitable?
Here is the Mathematics :-
I dedicated 15 Steem to MB
If you want to win automatically without work: "it's worth it." If you want to tie your friends, post and read then it's better to invest these steem power in the articles read, and the reward will be higher in time, and at the same time, you will make people who will read you and give you a reward. by upvote
What is your view on Euthanasia? Would you end your life when you cannot physically bear to survive or would you just suffer till the end?
I think it is a person's right to do what they want with their own life. It also depends on how painful the suffering is. Some terminally ill sufferer's go through so much, and even though the people around them have hope, those people do not understand the actual pain involved that someone would want to give up even when they have the full support of others to keep living.
Which blockchain platforms have the potential to surpass Ethereum in market cap?
icon has the potential to surpass ethereum
I think EOS has the potential to overtake Ethereum at one point, if it's able to do all the things that was said about it (such as communication between blockchains).
What do you seek from God ?
Most of us believe in God, and we offer prayers every day. I would be curious to know, what do you seek from the almighty ?
If you do not believe in God , then is there a reason ?
100% upvote from me for 2 great answers, though it is not of big value.
i find that why i came in existence and what is my motive of life
I say that this question does not really have a place here. In the old times this question was controversial and it was unanswered.
Have you ever been to a beach? Where and how was your experience?
