No religion is a curse, Its a way of life. Each religion has roots in the humanity and moral foundation as their teaching. But the fact that many are way philosophical and mostly metamorphic in nature is the problem.
Many will go after what the literal meaning of the words from the ancient text and few will seek the actual meaning. And as long as there are people, these religions will get interpreted with split opinions. No religion is a curse, It's just that people are too dumb to understand.
Religion has most often been a blessing when it has spread its arms around the most vulnerable, established hospitals and schools, seeking justice for the oppressed, called for a fair sharing of the earth’s resources, given itself to the peaceful solution to war and violence and sought to save the planet from environmental destruction.
At the same time, religious fundamentalism, backed by political conservatives, has consistently fought every one of these advances.
Writing just two or three decades after Jesus’ death, the author of a letter to the young Galatians church sums up what it really means to experience the fruitful religious.
Religion was existed by man existence. A man was born asking and raising a lot of questions that will not stop by the time. For instance, where did we come from? Why do we live? Where are we going in this life? what is our purpose in life?
This all question come to mind in our society if there was religion existed by man.
As long as you understand your religion, as long as you believe in God, As long you understand the basic principles of Humanity in the light of your religion no religion is a Curse.
All religions are good, it is at times the interpretation of the religion that causes problems. People tend to follow they never bother to validate what their religion actually says.
In my opinion religion is not the curse but Godmen are the curse because it is them who exploit the weak minded person.

I think if we do something in moderation, is better than being too obsessed into a religion.
