Yeah, I'm well aware of the circle jerking of shit posts with tight knit groups. It turns my stomach lately, and seems to be as bad as ever, but I've accepted the reality of the environment. There is little that can be done to change it at this point.
One of the user's here suggested they base their votes on SP, and that is how they determine who gets the busy.pay vote.
If I can verify this, I will discontinue use of their service immediately, as it goes against what I believe in for the steem blockchain.
Although it makes sense, I don't really agree with the concept. I understand this is a game of profit for many, but I also believe in the concept of curating quality content, regardless of followers, vests, ect.
The only message this portrays to me is, "you're not popular enough for our vote."
It totally rubs me the wrong way, but I can see some objective arguments as well.
I've tried esteem app, and didn't really get much support from them either lol, but the support I did receive was better than busy's. So perhaps I will go back to esteem for a while.
I like the idea of platforms supporting their user base. Steemit doesn't do shit to support it's users, so I search for other avenues.
Yes, I know how to check vests utilizing steemd. Thank you for clarifying how they choose their votes. I was not aware that it's based on vests alone. This negates the idea of choosing quality content, and voting accordingly.
Knowing this now, I will likely discontinue using their service, because the concept goes against what I stand for on the blockchain.
I am not using anymore busy since I noticed this. This blockchain turns more and more into a "the rich are getting richer while the poor are getting poorer" ecosystem unfortunately. Big accounts get the most upvotes from any service around here.

I appreciate the answer mate, thanks.
It's worth it if you have big enough followers. Sending you a discord message now.

You are 100 percent correct! It's exhausting for the small guy, I know.
I won't be using them anymore. Thank you for clarifying this information.
This is not true - the busy votes depend on the amount of vests that your followers have, not your own vests
This was also clarified by another user. Thank you as well for clarifying. Much appreciated.
