Personally right now, I think the best time to post is 11AM-1PM and 8PM-12PM Western or US Time.
Majority of whales, curators and influential people who holds a decent amount of Steem Power are from Western countries. Some of them have day jobs and are browsing Steem platforms during their free time. You might want to target those people.
For me, anytime of the day is the best time to post since Steemit is accessible by people of different races and nationalities. And I think its not that effective to think of the "best time of the day to post on Steemit", why? Simply because there are lots of curation teams spread across the Steem blockchain and if your post is of high quality, very exceptional, originally made with no signs of plagiarism, pass the criteria of the communities like ocd, curie, steemrepo, utopian-io and many more; your post would be curated and would be found in the trending section of Steemit Feed and additional upvotes would come from random users who happened to appreciate your post.
It depends on what timezone you are in, what kind of contents you are posting and what tags you are using.
for example, suppose you are a member of african steemit community. so their time of actvity on steemit should be times except there work schedules, other works and sleep time. if you post when they are active you would get responses from them. tags and contents elements will follow the same.. posting when your contents audience is most active will reach them the most.
I don't think so that there is any specific time to post on steemit. Since this platform is used all over the world and one can upvote any time before expiry of 7 days. So the post remains available for the whole community for 7 days.
In my point of view if your post has the quality content then it will attract the audience automatically.
However, there is a possibility that if you are posting for a certain community then by following time zone of that community may earn some extra visibility.
The question was often questioned by steemian beginners, and also a question from one of his colleagues and made me try to make analysis regarding time postings from various other estimates. Each post will be appreciated for 7 days (6 days 12 hours) before the time of payout. 30 – 60 minutes after the first had the clout 60% in determining a posting we get a lot of vote
