RE: Musing Posts

Land is by far more valuable. For one thing it can't be hacked (yes it can be stolen). You don't have to worry about it being lost if you lose your computer or "keys" or wallet etc. It's  always registered with a government that can prove ownership

Depending on where the land is its value can increase or decrease over time. There are very people who have bought and held land for extended periods of time that have lost money on that deal. Can the same be said for bitcoin?

Land is a commodity and many many things can be done with it. As the years go by the value of the land can change simply by what can be done with it. It might have started out as a patch of dirt and dust but 10 years later thanks to new irrigation techniques its now a fertile farmland. 20 years after that its the most sought after location in the country for multi-million dollar homes. 50 years after that some new mineral was discovered beneath it, etc.

Land has verstatility and longevity that bitcoin simply does not have.
