Many people will tell you to create high quality post with good content. Unfortunately, in today's steemit, that is not the case anymore, especially if you are a new comer in Steemit. Yes a high quality post might capture a curie or ocd curation, but how about your second or future posts? I had seen tons of good quality posts being buried under the pile of junk posts, hardly earning a few cents. I had also seen good authors with good contents getting curied, but subsequently left steemit due to future posts not getting any support.

Networking and engaging in conversation with other authors is what a new comer should focus on, besides creating posts. Choose a tag or topic of your niche and spend time to read and comment on others post. Join the Discord servers of these communities and mingle with other authors. This way, you will start gaining true followers who are interested in what you write. Followers are what determine your worthiness as an author in Steemit. This is evident as steem-au, which is now using a new and unique algorithm to determine an Author's score, mostly using your followers count.

If all else fail, try to build your Reputation value in Steemit. This is the first and only number that everyone sees. If you have to, spend some money on bidbots and raise your Reputation. Not recommended though.

Thanks @jrvacation. My question can't be better attended to . Consequently I have elected to follow and upvote !!

I think the key factor there is "focusing on creating good content and posting it on steemit frequently".Good content would lead to earning of cool cash on each of your post and at the same time you earn more steem power naturally without forcing it.Buying steem power would be more useful for those who cannot create content and are just looking for content they can upvote and earn curation rewards....or probably the person wants to upvote his or her own content.

Thanks @nicefortune for your prompt comment. But permit me to ask: How would a GOOD CONTENT be rewarded when it is not Visible , or Visible to FEW steemians??

I have noticed high quality Posts , which were poorly, or not rewarded , because they were not Visible. What's your take, and possible advise to Whoever is experiencing this?

One other way of increasing visibility hence increased payouts is obviously to use voting bots like Booster, Minnowbooster, Bellyrub, Randowhale and Buildawhale. What voting bots do is basically they sell their votes in exchange for liquid Steem or SBD.

For e.g. you send them 2 SBD and you may get a $5 vote. There may be a good ROI, but is it good for the platform? Basically such services are sold by whales with lots of Steem Power. Whether you should use them or not is a Steem-ethical issue.

Would it be good for the platform if everyone just boosts their posts and whales get richer? I would like to use them someday if I wish to get more visibility on the post. This is because posts with higher payouts will appear on the trending page and the hot page.

It may be a good way to get more visibility but I wouldn’t advise you to use them all the time.

Thank you @nicefortune for your contributions to this discuss.
Using bots tends to increase visibility irrespective of content Quality. Thus both poor and high quality content would withness equal visibility. But in the long run quality of the vision content would determine its rewards.

Steem power gets you a lot of followers and yes that helps your post to be seen by so many people because posts on steemit appears on feed and feed is basically from people you are following.

However that be it as it may, SP is not the most important factor in post visibility. Creating original and good contents helps. When you create good contents, people love it and then they reesteem it and gets more visibility from people on their following list. Again, sharing of links also helps in post visibility. You don't make a post as minnow and do not share the link hoping it would be seen by the world when you have a very small number of followers. Posts are made every seconds on steemit and in 5 minutes your post can be swallowed up.

Hence it is important to join communities and interact. Build a network for yourself. Let people know your niche and use the post promotion channel for these communities. It helps in post visibility.

Comment a lot on people's blog. Making reasonable comments in blogs of others will get people visiting your blog leading to post visibility. After all said, for your post to be visible, you have to do more than just having SP, you must work.

Quite exhausive an explanation! Thank you.

You are welcome

Post visibility on steemit is purely a function of the value of upvotes you've gotten. Once a post reaches a certain amount of upvotes it will appear on the hot or trending page. Depending on what tags you used, your post could appear on multiple hot pages. For example if you made a post using the tag 'poetry' that's received 20 dollars worth of upvotes, it will most probably appear on the hot page for posts using the tag poetry.

As long as the value of the upvotes you've received are high then your post will be on the hot page, and by extension will increase its visibility. Work hard and create quality posts and most definitely you will get the upvotes you deserve. If you really want your posts to be visible, then you could simply pay for a large upvote and get your post on the hot page that way.

Upvotes begets Visibility! But how does one generate Upvotes from the beginnings to set up the Visibility Momentum??
I hope I an not being Pedestrian??

In a sense yes, Steem Power indeed plays a big part in increasing a posts visibility. To be more specific the upvote worth (rshares) it contributes to the post.

It is no hidden fact that the more Steem Power you have the more your upvote worth will be. If say the worth of your upvote is at $10-$15, then your post will go straight into the "Hot" section or even "Trending" on the not so used steem tags. A post of $50-$100+ is often than not placed under the "Trending" section which increases more your visibility.

However that is not all, One's Followers also plays a big part on a posts visibility due to resteems. The more resteems you get, the more visible your post is.

Thanks you folk for succintly dissecting my question.

Thanks you folk for succintly dissecting my question.

I thought this is the place that get rewards by creating good content.

But now the main concern becomes Interaction. Therefore I see many people misuse or abuse their power.

I would like the focus back on Creating good content to get rewards accordingly please.

Inasmuch as I would prefare "Good Content " over interaction , the Subjectivity of what is good makes it dichotomous; thus THEY seem to think that INTERACTION, therefore, best describe "Good' . Methinks!!

hmmmm.... i get you! Quite agree with your opinion. So attitude counts...

Yes 0 . Of course , it counts!!

Thank you.
