7-Day Wayback Music Challenge - Day - 5 - Eagles - Hotel California
Tonight we are visiting the Eagles. Hotel California is a song that I believe everyone knows and everyone sees it unfold in their mind. You see the ghost, the hotel, the beast, the man not being able to leave.....wait is this one of my stories......nope....My friends thought they were getting new mates to hang out with and swap stories lol Their bummed now but all is good ;)
The Eagles is that iconic group that never loses it charm. No matter your age, no matter the event, no matter the season Eagles is always the best music. You can slow dance, reminiscence, dream just by listening. Brings back memories of sitting with friends, having a couple of shots, just bullshitting, relaxing. This again is a great driving, windows down song.
This is a group that I did not see in concert. One of the girls that I was raised with, I believe the older one, went to their concert before they broke up the first time. I would love to go, but I don't believe they are still together :( It would be a nice summer concert to see at an outdoor arena. Wow, now I want to go :)
Well I just check and they are together and touring.......hmmmm eroded and I might just have to check that out next year when baby is older. Too little to leave with anyone and go three hours away for a concert. It is nice to know it is an option though, YAY!!!
My Favorite Part.....
Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said, 'we are all just prisoners here, of our own device'
And in the master's chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast
"And she said, 'we are all just prisoners here, of our own device'" Best Line EVER!!!!!
