"Without music, life is a journey through a desert"

For years I've been creating electronic music, it's really my passion. But I've never been busy with sharing it online or anywhere else, but with my friends, for that matter. My friends always told me I should, but I wasn't convinced anyone really wanted to hear my stuff. But this weekend I was at my neighbor's party whom I gave a cd with some of my music, he had it on repeat...
Turned out to be an awesome party, everybody really was in to the music, and it wasn't till later in the evening they found out it was my home-made music. People started asking where they could find my music and I had to disappoint them... So these last days I'm taking it up and started uploading my music, as I promised them. Over the years I created a whole lot of tracks, of different sub-genres but always electronic (computers, synthesizers, etc...). So I'm taking my time selecting the best tracks and finding some matching artwork preferably from a friend.
As I'm uploading my tracks on Soundcloud I was thinking to myself that I should do more than that. I just joined Steemit recently and was checking this place out, so I realized I could try to promote my music on Steemit. It was here on Steemit, while searching the music tag that I found an article by @theharddata which led me to Musicoin. And I thought I should give it a try.
Musicoin
“Musicoin will bring a level of transparency and fairness to the music industry that has never been seen before! It has the potential to completely change the way we consume music.”
- Alan Cross, A Journal Of Musical Things
Musicoin is a blockchain based music sharing platform where artists get payed in a cryptocurrency, directly, per play. Artists can set up smart-contracts for every song so that all contributing artists or band-members get their fair share, without any middlemen. New users of the platform get some free plays payed for by donations made by the community. So you don't have to set up an account or buy Musicoins to try it out and listen to some music, until you run out of free plays. You can check out how it works here.

MusicCoin is interesting, but it has no value unless the various artists who receive MusicCoin have something else to trade for it. What can you exchange for your MusicCoin? You don't say this in your article. Please do, because I am interested to know: what can I exchange for MusicCoins ?
You can buy/sell Musicoin on Bittrex or Cryptopia. You have to setup a Musicoin wallet outside your Musicoin profile and send them to that wallet if you want to sell.
