Full Throttle Right Till the End of 2019

**December was another super busy month for Viberate. We flew to London for the 2019 UK Festival Awards, launched new features on our platform, took over international media with our insights, and received a special Christmas present.

Viberate at the 2019 UK Festival Awards**

We kicked off the Christmas season by attending the 2019 UK Festival Awards at the beginning of December. This major annual awards festival served as the perfect opportunity for us to meet and greet the organisers of some of the most iconic music festivals. We introduced them to our mobile app, which now also contains several exciting features, such as lineup, ticket links, chat, social media, etc.

Two essential members of our team, Matic and Kristian, made sure that our stand was in tip-top shape. Who needs hostesses anyway?

Three major festivals claim their Viberate profile

Speaking of festivals, the testing of our app last year with five mid-sized festivals in Europe, including MetalDays and Sea Dance Festival, produced some fantastic results. We attracted the attention of much bigger players, as three huge festivals claimed their official profiles on Viberate, namely Creamfields, EXIT, and Pukkelpop.

Are you planning on attending the famous Belgian megafest or any other rock festivals? Here’s all you need to know:

The festive month also held its fair share of praise from international media. EDM.com, for instance, labelled us as the next big music network, connecting artists and music professionals:

‘’Viberate is a global music platform set to bring order to the chaotic world of live music where information and contacts are scattered all over the internet.’’

We also broke a story about festivals with the best musical experience for your money, which was picked up by numerous media, including The Music Essentials, Rave Jungle, We Rave You, and One EDM.

Viberate gains traction in the metal scene

It’s great to see that we’re not just gaining traction in the electronic scene, but also in the metal world. After MetalSucks and Metal Injection both analysed how metal bands can benefit from using our platform, we started seeing a surge in new claims by metal bands. More than 50% of claims in December were attributed to metals bands. In total, more than 450 artists joined forces with us last month, including Polish death metal heavyweights Decapitated and German electronic duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse.

Our platform gets a major upgrade

We have good news for all our new, existing and future claimed artists: our platform has gotten a major upgrade! We have introduced two new features, the grid and map view, which make our platform more efficient and easier to use. Browsing through all our 460k artists is now a piece of cake, as they can be filtered by country, genre, and subgenre. Additionally, you can now find new venues or festivals simply by hovering over the map.

Christmas present & celebrations

We all know what Christmas magic means — getting presents! In 2019, we made it onto a special “Good” list, and we received a nicely wrapped surprise. Wondering what it was? Read more below.

We ended 2019 in style with the company’s Christmas evening party, followed by a Christmas breakfast, and finally a gig by our co-founder UMEK. Saying we had a blast would be an understatement.

Cheers to the new year, we’re ready to rock the music world like never before!
