I have many Who anecdotes. I first saw them in '72 with Kieth Moon at Maple Leaf Gardens......Floated out of that one.
I gave up on them after the third farewell tour in and around '85....I can't talk about those anecdotes over the net! lol
What an experience. The Who is one of my all time favorite bands. You must have really had a blast listening to the oldies live for the first time. They sound really cool. Thanks for sharing.
