Bee York?

Vespertine is one of my all-time favorites too! Post and Debut kinda tie as a close second, and Biophilia third. Haven't heard her new album, but I liked Vulnicura quite a bit. I agree that Volta was one of the worst for me, although I did like Declare Independence and a few other tracks. I just could not with Medulla though. x.x Maybe it's due for a re-listen?

def revisit medulla! it's amazing! :-P

Before I watch this, if Homogenic isn't her best abum, I'm going to hurt someone.

Edit: Respect. Vespertine is a solid, solid record. My big three for her are Homogenic, Post, and Vespertine.

I do wonder where she's going. She seems to moving away from the standard idea of a song. That can be interesting, but it demands a lot of the listener. Like others I love Vespertine. I saw her on that tour and again later. Not seen her recently, so I don't know what the shows are like now.
