Music - Salute to a Legend

in #music6 days ago

Is that time of year again when my mojo gets rubbed all sides of everywhere.... people, people, people and then people. I love family but not from both sides and not living with us expecting to be entertained.

So I sort of have the Blues.... and sort of went back down my music rabbit hole and wallowed in the Blues. here is the man most responsible for my rabbit hole

The maestro himself.... producing magic on Lucille , his guitar !!

If you can get your hands on his concert album Live at Cook County Jail ...do yourself a favor and add it to your collection. My vinyl was unfortunately purloined by some cad {sniff}

Sweet Sixteen

A signature song of his .... relax and enjoy.

Not Cook County jail, but Sing Sing prison.... the first of many prison concerts he would play..

Not getting on with multiple members of the family sounds tough. I only don't get on with one person on J's side of the family and fortunately we never see them (their shining personality and amazing behaviour seems to have gotten them pretty much estranged from the entire family, sadly I think they're going to be the type that ends up dying alone in their house and getting discovered ages later) and am permanently exasperated with one person on my side of the family (they live on the other side of the country so I don't have to deal with them).

Did listening to blues make you feel less blue? :)
