In May we went to a house concert featuring Matt Haeck. I had never heard from him, but I am always open to listening to new music and on the recommendation of a friend, we went to the show. It was an excellent performance. The band, Matt in particular, had a lot of energy and enthusiasm, and they had a couple of good sets of material.
I haven't been to many house concerts but it is a great way to get up close and personal with some musicians that are out there working hard to make a name for themselves. It is also a great way to support live music.
