Over my winter break I decided to go to Nashville, Tennessee. The weather was relatively good, aside from a little bit of rain one morning, so the nights were perfect for going out. Wanting to find some good music and booze, we decided to check out Broadway street the first night. Now Broadway street is certainly a bustling and exciting place, but it's not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a more relaxing scene, where I could sit and really listen to talented musicians playing live music. There is a little to much hustle for someone like me to enjoy Broadway street. One of our Uber drivers suggested Printer's Alley: an alley between third and fourth avenues. I liked the music scene of Printer's Alley much more than I did Broadway Street. Although, there were some more pretentious bars which still had entrance fees (it was a couple days before Christmas; none of the bars were going to fill up anyway). We avoided those bars for the most part. All in all, I had a good time exploring he city. Nashville is one of the more clean cities that I've been to, and it very much comes alive at night. Oh, and Hattie B's is a must if you plan on stopping by. Easily some of the best chicken I've ever had!
I love Nashville, man. I'm there a few times a year for work. Lots of good food on the East side.
It's honestly one of my favorite cities so far. I'm definitely going to go there again in the future!
