Hello dear Steemians.

I have wandered around this site for some time now. Read the obligatory Cryptocurrency and help articles; watched some blogs with some interesting and some less interesting people and basically treated Steemit as a weird new experimental social network. Watching from the shadows, lurking and wondering if anything is ever coming out of this. I had little to contribute so far and after seeing how accepting this community can be i decided to rid myself of the cynicism and give it a shot. :)

So yeah. This is me.
I am a Violinist from Croatia currently working as the deputy Concertmaster in the Croatian national theatre. Classical music has always been my calling but on the side i have always loved to sing. When i have the time i do a gig here and there, especially during the summer. Get some walking around cash and free beer so who cares! :D
During the day i play Puccini, Verdi and wedding ceremonies for rich Swedes and Norwegians, Ave Mariiiiiiiaaaaaaaaa :D, but at night im the cool cat and play Maiden, AC/DC , Metallica. Haha

Although the nice reactions none of this has ever warranted any attempt of trying anything serious for the masses. It has always been about having fun.
Which is why im going all out and sharing a video i used to get gigs from time to time. :)
Its not the most fun song but i think i covered it well and it is a hard song to cover.
Sia-Chandelier.

The video is shot with the fabulous Samsung S5 mounted on a selfie stick with my boyfriend pointing a lamp at my face :D.
Now that i remember it, its kinda cringy. Haha

And thats about it. Not much else i wanted to say. I hope you like it. :D
I might upload something else soon.

Bye bye.

Glad you finally decided to join :) you got amazing violin playing and singing skills. Steemit loves amazing musicians like you, so just keep posting awesome music. May it be classical or rock, I (and everyone else) would definitely love to hear it. Cheers.

Thank you for the nice comment. 😌

You are one of the reasons I love Steemit so much. If you hadn't have lurked on out into the light, I wouldn't have been blessed with your music.

I sang in choir in high school and a good friend played violin 1st chair in the San Diego Youth Symphony. He was one heck of pianist too.

We lost touch, but you reminded me of those days. I can relate to the experience of classical music by day, then rock and roll later on.

Hope to see more music, maybe a cover of something fast and driving. Sabbath? :)

Ill see if i have something. I might have a live video of Motorhead: Ace of Spades somewhere.

Konačno imam dovoljno bandwidtha da stisnem FOLLOW :) Pročitala sam ti par postova i veseli me poslušati tvoje svirke. Violina mi je uvijek bila najdraži instrument, u zadnje vrijeme sam se malo navukla na David Garretta i Lindsey Stirling.

Hvala hvala. I meni je violina najdrazi instrument. :D hehe.

WOW!!! A little bird told me there was some serious talent going on in here and I was blown away!~ I want to more covers from you! Keep posting awesome contents and I'm sure you'll do well on Steemit! Followed you #steemitbloggers

Thank you very much. Im really loving it so far :D

“I’m gonna live like tomorrow doesn’t exist” sounds crawly and touching in the violin and guitar velvet background … bravo! Your talent leads you to give your listeners a breath like in meditation. Bravo again

Stringed instruments played with bows have always fascinated me, what a beautiful opportunity you have to interact with uour musical passion in a professional manner 🙌
Youve got talent! Keep sharing it with us 😍

Thanks for your comment. I can see you have a large following here on steemit but honestly i can say that at this point i dont understand many of the things you just wrote. 😅 haha

Haha. That message came from a bot that I called over 4 u. :)

I really need to read up on this stuff. haha. :D

I went on a mission to help a new steemian. Your post was the first interesting one I came across in the #introduceyourself tag.

You play and sing very well. I'm happy to try to give the little bit that I can.

I wrote a post today about helping out new steemians, and I mentioned your post. Hopefully, some other steemians will see it and give you some more votes.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll do my best to answer. :)

Wow. I've always wanted to play the violin. My Mum was against it though so I never got to play. I'm a creator at heart :)

You are really awesome with that violin :)

Its never too late to annoy your neighbors with the sound of a beginner hacking away at the violin with a bow. haha
When i remember what my parents had to endure i get a new appreciation for them. :D
But really its never to late to pick it up even though it takes a lot of work to become decent. I know there are some cheap beginner ones for 50-100 dollars.
And thank you for the compliment :D

OMG. Fingernails scraped across a chalkboard comes to mind.

Thanks for giving it a shot! Your music is beautiful!

Haha @lidac. She didn't just give it a shot. She blew it away! :)

Jako sam sretna što sam naletjela na tebe u ovim Steemit vodama. :) Uživam slušajući te! Svaka čast!
