Most of you listen music everyday and you know how much powerful it can be. Music changes our mood instantly, It has the power to make us sad, even if we are so happy, and it can make us happy in our sad days.
According to music theory, Minor scale is used to make sad songs and Major scale used to make happy and bright songs. There is a song called "Gloomy Sunday" written by lyricist and poet László Jávor and it was composed by Rezso Seress. More than 100 people have committed all over the world because of this one particular song.
Composer Rezso Seress composed this song after breakup with his girlfriend. He was deeply heartbroken after his girlfriend had left him. Gloomy Sunday was banned in England and the BBC described the song to be “too upsetting”. In Hungary, More than 18 suicides have been reported because of this song.
