The 18th Art Gallery Tour
Hello all Art Lovers!
This year's eighteenth Art Gallery Tour has ended. There were six gallery visits, each of which had a venissage on 28 and 29 April.
Artphoto Collection is up to date with its second exhibition of the season. This time a memorial exhibition of photographer Håkan Berg's work. Few others have meant as much to photography in Gothenburg as Håkan Berg (1937-202020). Most famous is probably Håkan as a teacher of photography for many years at the School of Photography.
Håkan worked as a museum photographer at the Natural History Museum in the 80s, but he also worked as a freelance photographer - where he illustrated books in the field of art and cultural history. Other areas he worked on were documentation of dance, storytelling from his childhood areas and photography about plants and nature.
Gallery Hammarén ends the spring season with an exhibition entitled "Matter and Memory". Artists are Berit Lindfeldt, Leif Elggren, Ann-Sofie Claesson, Peter Eccher
and Thage Folkesson.
Gallery Engleson is visited by Stockholm artists Gunilla Runsten (painting) and Anneli Lindberg (sculpture).
Konstrum NU! located on Linnegatan 21 (Hagabion) shows a video installation by Anna-Karin Rasmusson. The title is "State of Things" (May 7-8).
Two galleries have had openings, but the exhibitions will run for some time.
Gallery 54 shows the exhibition Listening to the Color Blue and Tasting the Smell of Dandelion Yellow (gallery) by Jeanette Schäring and in Peepshow Quantum state, 2021 by Malin Mattebo.
The international Gallery Nevven shows watercolors by the young Norwegian artist Oda Iselin Sønderland.
The afternoon ended with a café visit at Frid and Fröjd's on Linnegatan.

Årets artonde gallerirunda har avslutats. Sex galleribesök blev det varav två av dem hade vernissage den 28 och 29 april.
Artphoto Collection är aktuellt med sin andra utställning för säsongen. Denna gång en minnesutställning över fotograf Håkan Bergs arbeten. "Få andra har betytt så mycket för fotografin i Göteborg som Håkan Berg (1937- 2020). Mest känd är nog Håkan som lärare i fotografi under massor av år på Fotoskolan".
Håkan arbetade som museifotograf hos naturhistoriska museet på 80-talet men han jobbade även som frilansande fotograf där han illustrerade böcker inom området konst och kulturhistoria. Andra projekt var dokumentationer av dans, bildberättelse från sina barndomstrakter och fotografi om växter och natur.
Galleri Hammarén avslutar vårsäsongen med utställngen "Materia och Minne". Konstnärer är Berit Lindfeldt, Leif Elggren, Ann-Sofie Claesson, Peter Eccher och Thage Folkesson.
Galleri Engleson gästas av Stockholmskonstnärerna Gunilla Runsten (måleri) och Anneli Lindberg (skulptur).
Konstrum NU! som ligger på Linnegatan 21 och i samma hus som Hagabion, visar en videoinstallation av Anna-Karin Rasmusson. Titeln är "Sakernas tillstånd" (7-8 maj).
Två gallerier har nyligen haft vernissage och utställningarna kommer att pågå en tid framöver.
