Nice to see you drumming. Those snare hits need work though Johnny! I appreciate the part of the skin that you're aiming for, the edge, but consistency in placement is key to obtaining the tone you're going for. You can both see and hear the 'miss.' That's the best part of the a/v replay. It's one thing to feel it while practicing, is another to review the evidence beyond the feeling. A person can provide that feedback, but without a mentor technology can jump in for better self reflection. There are some pretty cool Wood out there that are based on Athletics replay/coaching that have great applications to music skill observation.
It was your drumming practice videos that you posted on Facebook awhile back that inspired me to take more time reflecting on my technique and capturing my playing. With due time, I'll get the setup I imagine. A/V for skill development. Have it so that you can track a kid's growth and development. The parent can sit in and observe or the youth can just see for themselves. It's almost there in the studio, just a few pieces left to connect.
Solid share. Keep pushing.
Enjoyed the hat rolls the most.
Improvisational, one take. Heard the song. Sat down played and recorded. Bam. I try not to think as much. Just fail fail fail fail... SUCCESS but I choose to fail at such a high ratio that my other forms of success and replay of the house being built. Cover the rest. The ability to free flow a moments, with out care of "success"; Simply for the joy of play. I Find solace in my studies. As underneath the instruments of technique and tension. Lies the composition and the virtue of the waves moving. I enjoy these, Taksim Al tarab
Thanks for the comment, glad to hear your building your studio up to achieve your dreams.
