Hey whatsup y'all? Recently I've been thinking of great events, great events that happened in times past. And most of all, I've been thinking of the people that were lucky enough to have witnessed this, especially the ones that are still alive.
Like wouldn't it be nice to meet a person who witnessed the French Revolution? A person who saw Shakespeare do his thing? Or a person who witnessed the life/death of Jesus Christ?
Like people who were actually there?
Of course it would be nice! But all the people who witnessed these things have been selfish enough to have died and rotted without waiting for us to meet them and have them tell us these things from the horse's mouth, and not some history book.
Such a shame, but I tell you not to worry because some other important event occurred and I Nevies, witnessed this event of great National importance to the Nigerian Music Industry and I refused to die until now you've met me and I'm about to narrate this event to you, first hand!
So meet me, folks:
Nevies, young and philanthropic. How do you do?
Alright, on to the event. You might have been expecting me to talk about a music concert or a show I attended, but sorry to disappoint you because it is actually a music concert or show that I'm going to talk about, but not that I'll narrate the series of activities in the show, I'm just going to tell you one important thing that happened there which is the main thing this whole write up is all about and that is: The Reason Why Orezi said Enugu girls like to do
Now, do not panic if you don't understand some Nigerian terms used in that last sentence, "Orezi" is a popular Nigerian musician and "Enugu" is a city in Nigeria, and when a Nigerian says a girl loves to "do" , what the Nigerian means is simply that the girl loves to have sex. So this whole write-up is just about why the Nigerian musician Orezi said that girls in Enugu love to have sex.
Note the value of what I'm going to tell you now, I'm not going to tell you the reason why Orezi said so, based on my own experience with Enugu girls per se, but based on the fact that I actually witnessed Orezi going through the single experience that made him say what he said.
Orezi said exactly this: Enugu girls dem like to do in a 2015 song tittled "Reggae Blues". The song was very popular in Nigeria for up to 2 years. It's even still a very popular song in Nigeria. Every Nigerian knows it. It probably came to your country too.

All super stars in the Nigerian Music Industry, it's not one of your regular Nigerian songs. I'm even sure some Nigerians reading this would be unhappy with me stressing so much about the popularity of this song cos it is common knowledge to em.
The event that made Orezi say what he said happened like two months before the release of this song, it happened in the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC)

I'm a student of the said school and I witnessed this whole thing. Orezi the musician doesn't stay in Enugu but was invited once for a show in the school and the school is located in Enugu, remember? I was in my first year in the University by then and I attended the show with my friends in this building called the "White House".
It was a night show and after Orezi performed he was escorted back to his car by his aides, once his door was opened all the school girls scrambled for the car door! It was a big struggle! Orezi's aides wanted to handle the situation but Orezi told them to let the girls be. So these girls literally tumbled on each other to get into the car, and when the car was filled with girls till it could take no more, the doors were closed. The girls who could not get in were still begging to follow Orezi and the ones inside were shouting that the girls outside get the heck out of there. Check this out, folks. Then some of the girls outside went to the front seat where Orezi was and asked for his phone number, which they got, and then Orezi's entourage was off.
While you're imagining the shock of the moment and imagining all the dirty things Orezi must have done to those girls in his hotel room, you have to be more humane and considerate and think about what a sad experience it was for we the broke and unknown boys of the school, we just stood there watching how our girls tussled for another male.
That stuff would stick with us always. It was really painful, I tell ya. Some of us had been chasing those girls for the past forever and we never got more than a handshake, and now here was another male with the same number of testes as us. You can imagine, right? You still have your humanity intact, don't you?
OK, so this was Orezi's visit to Enugu and he got all that. And about two months later he was featured in a song and he couldn't but blab about what he saw that day by saying: Enugu girls dem like to do (Enugu girls like to have sex). I bet the broke boys in Enugu don't agree with him, cos we don't see those girls liking to do when it comes to us. He speaks for only himself.
Mind you, Orezi has never came out in the open to narrate this event or say that it was the reason why he said "Enugu girls like to do" on his song. But I know! We the broke boys of the University that were around at the venue, we know. Because that dude doesn't stay in Enugu, he just visited and that song was the next song he sang after his visit and we are sure this experience was what could have warranted his saying something like that.
This revelation I've just revealed has not been heard anywhere or written in any Nigerian newspaper. It is first hand information. When I and my school mates first heard the song we agreed we knew why the brother said what he said but that was all, we left it at that.
I might decide to make it go wild later on though 😂 😂.
So that's it y'all, every other Nigerian and the rest of the world who have heard this song have no idea why Orezi said what he said, but we, the broke boys of the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC) that were there for the show back in 2015, we know it! We saw it all, right before our very eyes!
Hey there! Thanks for reading!😀
