Great Music coming out of Taiwan

Hi guys, lately I've been listening to some really great groups out of Taiwan. They each all have a really great and unique sound, with some music being in English and other music being in Mandarin, or even other dialects. I'll list a few below.

草東沒有派對 (No Party for CaoDong)

Personally my favourite, very popular in Taiwan, and also in the mainland. I first found these guys on YouTube which must have come from listening to other Taiwanese bands recommended to me by friends (I'll get to those later)

These guys have a sort of loud/soft style, but with very heavy loud sections, and crystal clean singing in the soft sections. This is one of my favourite parts of their style, as well as the beautiful lush tones they all coax out of their instruments, and passionate grooves.

All the songs are in Mandarin, but even if you don't understand any of what they're saying you'll easily still groove along to the music. I've linked two of their most popular songs, which are also my favourites.

Sunset Rollercoaster ( 落日飛車 )

This band is quite a funky one, and their style has change quite considerably over their time together. Coming from a more guitar based blues/soft rock start, to having increasingly jazzy and funky songs. This is one of the bands recommended to me by a Chinese friend.

They are quite popular throughout Asia, with many live videos found on YouTube, and even some content from the States. I've linked two songs which show their different styles, but do check out their other stuff, there is so much to be found.

Deca Joins

Another favourite, also in Mandarin. These guys have a more mellow sound, with soft singing and sweet guitar licks. This softness is sometimes contrasted with passionate and strong singing, and emotional guitar solos. Definitely give them a listen.

拍謝少年 (Sorry Youth)

Another band I found more recently, more of a rock sound. This band sings in another dialect, which I'm not not 100% what it is, maybe someone can tell me in the comments. The song I linked is one of their newer ones. The song features a ballad type structure, strong emphasis on rhythm, as well as some nice brass. Their older songs are also good to check out, and have quite a different sound.
