The body of Chester Bennington, lead vocalist of the band Linkin Park, was found at his residence in Los Angeles this morning.
The artist had had many problems of depression and drugs in recent years.
Had confessed that he wanted to commit suicide, since as a child had been a victim of rape.
Bennington hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes States, just outside the Californian city, and his body was found Thursday at 9 o'clock in the morning. He is survived by six children of two different mothers.

Linkin Park is one of the bands considered the trainers of the genre of Nu Metal and have had a number of successes over the years, including singles like "Faint", "In the End" and "Crawling". The band's album, "Meteroa"
