I was in a religious-ish mood this evening, and decided to record "Children of Eden" from the musical Children of Eden!
This gorgeous song belongs to Eve (from the Bible story of Adam and Eve), who is at the end of her life. With her dying breath, she prays that her future lineage will eventually reinherit the Garden of Eden, even after all that she has done.
