Here We Have A Take On Steve Vai's Version Of This Classic Hymn, Amazing Grace.
Steve Vai has always been a favourite of mine. I first discovered him by accident when I was maybe 22, by rummaging around my bro's CD drawer trying to find some Pantera to rock out too.
Amongst the porno mags, small change, and screwdrivers, I found the CD to Passion & Warfare.
I thought the front cover of the album was disturbingly attractive with its vibrant colours and a swift young looking Steve stood high with his outrageous signature Ibanez guitar.
The man has influenced many a player over the years and his style and musical vocabulary will always stand out from the rest for eternity.
( Excuse the blurriness of myself as I was looking for a warm, atmospheric peaceful feel. )
