Since I have introduced myself very shortly, I will tell more about me in the upcoming posts with the help of some music. I want you guys to listen to my favorite number for almost two years now. This song inspired me to begin to write my own music in the style of reggae rap. I am thinking of combining classical instruments like a chamber string quartet with some rap on a reggae beat, but first King without a crown from Matisyahu.
His real name is Matthew Paul Miller. He is from West Chester, 30 June 1979. Matisyahu is a Jewish rapper as you can see from his lyrics. In 2000 he became chassidic Jewish and started wearing traditional clothes and growing a beard. In 2006 this song became world wide known and in 2011 he shove of his beard, but stayed religious. He also has a talent for hip hop beat boxing. He has released four studio albums and two live albums, two remix Cd's and two concert DVDs.

The reason why this is my favorite song is because I can hear he sings this song with his soul and his belief. It puts power at the words he sings and makes sure the message he wants to tell is conceived. The beat is not that hard with a 4/4 rhythm and a one drop beat with sometimes a mix between the, correct me if I am wrong, rocker drum beat. Next to the drum are also a bass guitar and electric guitar, which gives the song a taste of popular and rock music. The key of the song is G major with 95 beats per minute. The guitar chords for the chorus are; Em/ D/ A/ Bm/ Em/ D/ A/ Bm/ Em/ D/ A/ Bm/ Em/ D/ A/ Bm.
