Founded in 2007 is Wales, Catfish and the Bottlemen is a British Indie Rock band that is conformed by:
- Bob Hall - Percussion
- Benji Blakeway - Bass and backing vocals
- Johnny Bond ("Bondy") - Guitar
- Van McCan - Voice and guitar
With their two albums "The Balcony" and "The Ride", released in 2014 and 2016 respectively, Catfish and the Bottlemen have become one of the most influential bands in the British indie currently. Personally it is one of the best modern bands, and they're only beginning, they have great singles like "Cocoon", "7", "Pacifier" and "Soundcheck" but the rest of their songs, like "Outside", "Tyrants" , "Hourglass" or "Twice" are also excellent. It is not a very popular band now, but in a few years they will surely have more impact.
My advice for now is to give the two albums a try, but I assure you they will not disappoint you, because they also have a great live performance and a lot of charisma.
