Hi music lovers, Today I Introduce to you, João Bosco.
Son of a Lebanese father, João Bosco began playing guitar at the age of twelve, encouraged by a family full of musicians. His first influences were Angela Maria, Cauby Peixoto, Elvis Presley and Little Richard, integrated the band X-Gare (inspired by the song "She's got it" if Richard).
Some years later, he began at the School of Mines in Ouro Preto attending Civil Engineering. Despite not neglecting his studies, he devoted himself especially to the musical career, influenced mainly by genres such as jazz and bossa nova and tropicalismo. It was in Ouro Preto, in 1967, at the home of the painter Carlos Scliar, who met Vinícius de Moraes, with whom he composed the following songs: Rosa dos Ventos, Samba do Pouso and O mergulhador - among others.
In 1970 he met the one who would become the most frequent partner, with whom he composed more than a hundred songs: Aldir Blanc: O mestre sala dos mares, O bêbado e a equilibrista, Bala com bala, Kid cavaquinho, Caça à raposa, Falso brilhante, O rancho da goiabada, De frente pro crime, Fantasia, Bodas de prata, Latin Lover, O ronco da cuíca, Corsário, among many others.
The first recording was on the pocket disc of O Pasquim: Agnus Sei (1972). In one side of the record Tom Jobim with Aguas de março, in the other side João Bosco with "Agnus Sei" The following year, it sealed a contract with the record company RCA, releasing the first disc, that took only its name.
In 1972 he met Elis Regina, who recorded his partnership with Blanc: Bala con Bala; The career took off when interpreting of the singer for the bolero Dois pra lá, Dois pra cá.
