When Was The Last Time You Watched MTV?
It has been a while since I have. I used to watch MTV all the time especially after i would get home after school to watch Carson Daily on TRL, interviewing new artists, and playing new music videos (for those of you not old enough to remember this). Unfortunately, my disinterest in MTV started when they started streaming more Reality TV shows rather than Music Videos. Not only that but i have since not needed to pay for cable as i receive my TV content through the internet or streaming services like Netflix. So any new MTV content, you can say i am missing out on, in case they come back music strong!
As a refresher MTV stands for Music Television, yes Music. Thats a nice refresher since nowadays I'm aware MTV streams more Reality TV entertainment rather than Music Artist related content, like Music Videos. And i don't mean to rain on their parade but again what happend MTV? Mmh interesting, i guess thats the shift, maybe Youtube killed MTV? Either way here is a toast to MTV when they still played TRL Music Videos during the Daytime. As always, keep on creating -edgarstudio
To be honest i think it says a lot about how our culture has shifted since that time, because even though we may not watch MTV for music videos, we at least have our good old friend Youtube to provide us with all the videos we need, Cool. 
It has been a while I watch MTV also I remember Wen I use to watch it too after school when I got home the station is set there already it's just for me to take my bath and eat after that I get busy with MTV some music you haven heard before MTV will get you that nice post I love this

MTV was fun to watch when it still played actual music. I remember myself slowly steering away from MTV when they started with so much of reality shows and less TRLs.

I used to love MTV2's idents. around 2001 they had some really surreal ones that I just can't find anymore.
I was watching MTV2's live program of Depeche Mode Live in Cologne and between adverts, there were strange idents where a man pulls out a sword from his throat saying MTV2 and another where a burger is being grilled with MTV2 on it. Its such a shame that idents just get lost, there must be tonnes of lost idents from all over the world.
Lol that sounds hilarious! Kinda reminds me of some Adult Swim programming, they're pretty funny and random. Also its true MTV2 is better with the videos but most people don't have access to MTV2. Oh well, i bet somewhere someone has that footage!
And somehow, Eve 6 is relevant again.
Of course, the irony in my comment was that Here's to the Night topped the TRL charts for the summer it released.
