Energy vampires are all around me and take the shape of my loved ones. They don't understand what they do to me and no amount of explaining will help them tone it down. My uncle is malicious...but with my mother it's unintentional...she is just lost. So it has always been up to me to be stronger. But sometimes I can't be as strong as I would like. Ahh...if only self awareness were universal. Like you have said - the act of being an emotional drain can be lessened once you are aware. This is a good place to achieve towards. But it becomes a difficult thing to convince someone of causing a psychic attack when they don't even believe in the esoteric.
