Music, one of the extraordinary creation on earth by man, words in melody. It coveys so many emotions, from love, to anger, bitterness, and so on. It also prompts some action as dancing, crying, humming, laughing and the likes, such creation.

Who ever thought it would be? Yes we did hear stories of the angels singing "Holy, holy, to the LORD", but that was in the Heavenly, little did man know that it would be adopted by men on earth. Yes, all music also known as song tend to produce sweet melody, but i strongly believe there are two types of music, which are creative music(Good music) and uncreative music(Bad music). Let's start with creative music, which brings us to the big question...

WHAT IS CREATIVE MUSIC?

It is best said that definitions of complex words are advisable to be stated in parts, then brought together, therefore, i'd start with the definition of Creative.

To be creative means being able to use ones imagination or original ideas to create something. The first part settled, we move unto the next part, which is the definition of Music.

Music is defined as vocal or instrumental sounds(or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotions. Therefore, creative music is defined as the ability to use one's original imagination to create vocal or instrumental sounds, that not only speeds up the rate of reaction in the human body, but also conveys a message.

MY EXPERIENCE?

I stay in an environment where music is unavoidable. Music is played in every nook and cranny of the system, from the hostel, to the classroom, lecture hall, cafeteria, listening to different genres of music as love, hate, pop, blues, rythme, christain and all.

Nowadays, i find it very hard to choose my specification of music because they all sound good, then i discovered, why not go for creative songs and leave the uncreative alone. This idea all boiled down to a very vital question, what are the attributes of a creative music?

ATTRIBUTES OF A CREATIVE MUSIC?

Creative songs are energetic, but focused :- Noticing as in this era, a lot of music come out with some vigorous energy to be displayed but little amount of focus on the actual message which is originally meant to be passed.

Creative music are formed from critical thinking, but never too complex or complicated :- Definitely a lot of intellect was put into the creation of the music, but all, even the lane man should relate.

Creative music are diverse, yet discipline :- Critical thinking is so important, it is necessary to think far and wide, varieties of things, but an individual has to be discipline. Yes, ones sound would be great with varieties of discipline, but it is definitely advisable to know what strikes the cord in the society and the world at large.

Creative music tells the future :- With the present happenings in the society, songs are meant to yield lyrics of what the future holds.

Creative music creates an environment of experience and emotions :- Certain experiences are suppose or meant to be shared, emotions conveyed while creating either vocal or instrumental sounds.
