New Ghost album is out! First impressions

Stop whatever you're doing and go listen to Prequelle, Ghost's new album! I'll link it here so you don't have to look for it:

Like all Ghost records, it's a concept album, and you're supposed to listen to it in the exact order the tracks are listed, to ensure the best experience and feeling.

This is not a review, as you just cannot absorb an entire album an hour after it released, so beware of those trying to cash out on releasing their "album review" on youtube. It's all BS.
A first impression is more adequate.

As a long time Ghost fan i already knew that this was not going to be a classic 2010 dark theatrical rock album (read my other article for more), instead, Prequelle is a rock opera meant to be played in big arenas. And it's great!

There's heavy use of synthesizers, as i like it, and lots of backing vocals creating a big unison sound to push you out of your couch. The lyrics are simple, as you would expect from a song that you'd want everyone to sing along, but they still hold some meaningful value. The vocals surprised me, considering past records i thought Forge might go even further out of his vocal range thus sounding weaker... but he sounds amazing. Guitars and drums are heavy, just as Forge mentioned in other interviews, not only some lead parts are faster but also quite intricate and most of the times they make use of harmony to emphasize the solos. All in all this record is a must listen for every rock fan out there.

I expect to be covering one of the 2 instrumental tracks in the record called Miasma, in my own way. Hopefully i won't take long lol!
