Hello, John from Liverpool England.
Vinyl has been making a massive comeback here in the UK and my home town of Liverpool, so much so that I have been digging out my old 80's collection of vinyl singles & albums to my children's amazement!
What with digital media now my children had never seen these wonderful tactile collections of my musical interests from years gone by.
So we have been playing my old vinyl on my old Hi-Fi (Pioneer) and they are fascinated so much so I've decided to rekindle my love of Vinyl and started to buy new and old to build up my collection even further.
And to top it all I bought this old Vintage Columbia Portable Gramophone from an antiques shop pictured below. Happy days!

Yes. Anything to get the kids away from the computer or gaming console just for part of the day is great. My kids are not on basefook or ginstaram at all and they still play a lot, my eldest son more so since upgrading. I pull out old photos, plug in the electric guitar, whatever it takes to pry them away.
Your gramophone looks like it's in good shape, your LP like new. I am happy your kids got to experience it.
