SPOTLIGHT ON is a weekly #RADIOSHOW for the music lover who wants to broaden his/her horizon. Always a surprise but with an unmistakable hunger for the musical adventure and experiment. It airs every sunday from 22:00-00:00 CET on the #Dutch local radiostation LOESFM (http://www.loesfm.nl)
Yes, it's dutch spoken but that should be no problem since the 'spotlight' is on music obviously.
In the 1st hour this focus is on the latest album releases ("Nieuw Plaatwerk" in dutch) while the 2nd hour ("De Onderstroom" meaning The Undercurrent) takes the music to everything from #jazz ("Jazz-Vibes" edition) to #electronicmusic ("Electro-Sphere" edition) to #ambient and beyond. The 2nd hour also regularly features specials around obscure artists , genres and records labels.

1st hour (22:00-23:00 cet)
Music from the brand new album "Black Coffee" the collaboration between blues guitarist-par-excellance JOE BONAMASSA & BETH HART || indie rockers WHEN WE LAND with their beautiful debut album "Introvert's Plight" || the female 'punk'- trio DREAM WIFE with their hilarious track F.U.U || the fourth album "Offerings" by American indie rockers TYPHOON || a beautiful track from Anathema's DANIEL CAVANAGH, his latest solo offering is called "Monochrome" || the weird scandinavian tribal band HEILUNG deliver some weird rituals || an instrumental track from AIDAN BAKER-SIMON GOFF-THOR HARRIS (see also 2nd hour) || and finally...4 tracks from the ALBUM OF THE WEEK "HIVE MIND" by American jazz singer/composer NICOLE ZURAITIS. Man, I really am impressed by her voice !
2nd hour (23:00-00:00)
An artist special: a full hour AIDAN BAKER (https://aidanbaker.bandcamp.com/ ), the prolific canadian guitarist showcasing his experimental ambient soundscapes.

He @jackjohanneshemp, dit is inderdaad leuk. Ik ben nog niet zo lang bezig hier op steemit maar heb de indruk dat er nog niet zo gek veel landgenoten hier te vinden zijn, of vergis ik mij ? Maar het zal wellicht toch wel groeien mag ik aannemen. Waren wij nederlanders niet altijd al goeie ontdekkingsreizigers ?
