Senang sekali saya bisa berbagi informasi kepada @steemit postingan kali ini saya memberikan infomasi berhubungan dengan hobi saya yaitu music.saya membagikan informasi ini yang menurut saya menarik dan bisa menambah wawasan kepada @steemit semua . ini mengenai tentang grup band music british Arctic Monkeys berasal dari inggris dibentuk tahun 2002.

Arctic Monkeys saat ini beranggota Alex Tunner (vokal,guitar,keyboard), Jamie Cook (ryhthm gitar),Nick O'Malley (bass,backing vokal),dan Matt Helders (drum,perkusi,backing vokal) anggota sebelumnya Andy Nicholson (bass) dan Glyn Jones (vokal utama).

Awal Sejarah band ini mulai berlatih di Yellow Arch Studios, Neepsend dan saat pertama kali tampil di The Grapes di pusat kota Sheffield. Setelah beberapa pertunjukan pada tahun 2003, band mulai merekam demo di 2fly studios, Sheffield. Ada 17 lagu mereka demokan yang sekarang dikenal sebagai Beneath the Boardwalk EP. Nama Beneath the Boardwalk diambil dari nama Boardwalk, tempat mereka merekamnya. Band ini mulai tumbuh dalam popularitas di seluruh Utara Inggris, menerima perhatian dari BBC Radio dan pers tabloid Inggris. Seorang fotografer amatir lokal, Mark Bull, memfilmkan pertunjukan band dan membuat video musik "Fake Tales of San Francisco".

Pada Mei 2005, Arctic Monkeys merilis single pertama mereka Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys yang berisi hanya 2 lagu, yakni "Fake Tales of San Francisco" dan "From the Ritz to the Rubble" yang dirilis terbatas dengan 500 CD saja. Ketika bermain di Festival Reading dan Leeds, nama mereka semakin dikenal oleh banyak orang.

Akhirnya, mereka menandatangani untuk Domino pada bulan Juni 2005. Single pertama mereka dengan Domino "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" dirilis pada 17 Oktober 2005 dan langsung memuncaki nomor 1 di UK Singles Chart, mengalahkan Sugababes dan Robbie Williams. Dua minggu sebelum ini, mereka membuat penampilan pertama mereka di sampul NME. Mereka membuat single kedua "When the Sun Goes Down" (sebelumnya berjudul "Scummy Man") yang dirilis pada 16 Januari 2006, juga langsung memuncaki nomor 1 di UK Singles Chart, dan berhasil terjual 38,922 copy dan mengambil alih posisi itu dari Shayne Ward. Band sukses dengan keuntungan kecil saat itu.

Gaya bermain music Artic Monkeys selalu berubah-ubah genre di setiap album seperti album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not dan Favourite Worst Nightmare adalah garage rock dan post-punk revival. pada album mereka Suck in And See pengaruh besarnya seperti band rock inggris 60an, seperti The Smith.

Arctic Monkeys currently has Alex Tunner (vocals, guitar, keyboard), Jamie Cook (ryhthm guitar), Nick O'Malley (bass, backing vocals), and Matt Helders (drums, percussion, backing vocals) previous member Andy Nicholson (bass ) and Glyn Jones (lead vocal).

Early history The band began practicing at Yellow Arch Studios, Neepsend and at first appearing at The Grapes in downtown Sheffield. After several performances in 2003, the band began recording a demo at 2fly studios, Sheffield. There are 17 of them demokan songs that are now known as Beneath the Boardwalk EP. The name Beneath the Boardwalk is taken from the name of Boardwalk, where they recorded it. The band began to grow in popularity throughout the North of England, receiving attention from BBC Radio and the British tabloid press. A local amateur photographer, Mark Bull, filmed the band's performances and made the music video "Fake Tales of San Francisco".

In May 2005, Arctic Monkeys released their first single Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys which contained only 2 songs, "Fake Tales of San Francisco" and "From the Ritz to the Rubble" which was released limited to 500 CDs only. While playing at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, their names are increasingly recognized by many.

Finally, they signed for Domino in June 2005. Their first single with Domino "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" was released on October 17, 2005 and immediately topped the number 1 on the UK Singles Chart, beating Sugababes and Robbie Williams. Two weeks before this, they made their first appearance on the cover of NME. Artic Monkeys' music-playing style is always changing the genre on every album like Whatever People Say I Am's album, That's What I'm Not and Favorite Worst Nightmare is garage rock and post-punk revival. on their album Suck in And See as big influences as the 60s rock band, like The Smith.
