Day 12. A song from my preteen years


When I was at my preteen and teen years I've discovered Reggae and Dancehall music, used to be updated with charts of the freshest hits form the islands, not a lot of music has really stayed with me from that phase, especially modern music, since most of it was meaningless (and I'm not talking about Roots reggae or stuff by the Marley family and shit like that, just the so-called "hits").
This one is different. This song can still move me, sometimes to tears, can help me and hold me in dark times, the lyrics, the desparate-prayer vibe, it's just WOW.
This artist has not released anything with that meaning eversince, mostly just shit songs about sex and stuff, but this piece, this piece deserves a special spot in this musical challenge. It really is heart-touching.
