Day 10. A song that makes me sad
The amazing story of Sixto Rodriguez as presented in the movie "Searching For Sugarman" has really touched my heart. What an epic figure!
Such a talented poet and singer, though very underrated at the time, yet he was so full of hope and inner happiness. And even after becoming famous - he's still very humble.
What a man.
This song by him is probably the saddest song I know, brings me to tears every fucking time. Can feel his pain, can literally live it through his beautiful sad lyrics and his clear soft voice.
Oh and also the crazy fact that, just like he wrote, he lost his job two weeks before christmas...
