I hardly wait for this competition. Our famous steemian @kus-knee is doing a great job with this challenge. Some real art and true artists popping out every time.
This is my entry for the Art Round Nine.
I took this shot near the Moraine Lake in Alberta, Canada.
Nature is the best artist in the world. We are just imitators.
@oldtimer that's really beautiful!!! Great work!
Nice work, agree re. nature (although my wife has got to be a close second when it comes to artists.) . :)
Ain't nothing like a glorious sunset or a hawk riding a thermal next to you; life holds many beautiful and ephemeral things (though I suppose lichen in Canada ain't exactly ephemeral.) .
In any event, thanks for sharing beauty!
great.
Always wonderful thanks. If it was possible to help vote for my publications because my account is new

That' why we have steemit. To see new things.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! It is like colors have spilled all over the rock.Great click.
-cheers-
This is not made by human? Really looks like some kind of paintings.
It's alive. Maybe the park guards are feeding it with some kind of fertilizer, but I don't think so.
That is a really cool entry! I have a few shots but can never decide. This time even the Steemers are not helping, it seems to be totally undecided lol.
so beautiful dear
How many different shades and colors.
Exactly!
lilac is my favourite color, I didn't even know that you can find this color in nature like this. really beautiful picture you took!
Hi my friend @oldtimer! This is an interesting gray-purple , and I found a wonderful orange lichen !
This proves that simple things can be so beautiful
I totally agree with you @oldtimer we are just imitators of the very best artist God made with his hands NATURE
That's a really nice entry! So many different colors. Really looks like a painting. And the second last sentence nails it totaly:
What is this one?
Great contest
Really all kind of activities of human being are natural based. Because at first we research on nature than we try to use it in our own necessaries.Yes dear you are right. "Nature is the best artist in the world. We are just imitators."
Truly a nice moment in time, I would stop my hike to recharge, well done. Thanks
great work brother.
Nature is art and art is nature.
That is indeed, a beautiful specimen.
Can tell its been above the surface for quite some time. Lots of beautiful separate lichens all over!
Im wondering what type of rock it is.. a mudstone? A limestone? I cant see the grain size.
