Here's my entry had a hard time choosing.
How about paper for one of the contests??
This wall has character and bears more than weight. Lovely.
Thanks a lot!
Paper! Great idea, Deb :)
I'm going to have to come up with a plan and try something creative. I don't have all the fancy equipment you have but I figure if I purchased some stiff bristol board (thick thick paper) in black and a white I can use that as my backdrop for photos. Also, I saw somewhere to crinkle up tin foil and smooth it would again that i would make a nice bokeh background for something, like I don't know, medication? :)
Yes, thick paper works great for backdrops, but you can also use textile or pretty much everything that comes to your mind :) Are you thinking of shooting your medications now? :))
mayhaps.....:)
I thought I would give this a go, it is a wall I build last spring and I am fixing to add another one here in a week or two. I live on the side of a mountain in Tennessee. Unless one of your legs is longer than the other one, you learn how to terrace your yard in order to have some level ground. I added a few more photos in my post to this one, one is of a wall I put in for my waterfalls on my koi pond. I think it more fun going into the woods to find the rocks, but being able to see them every day is pretty rewarding.

Good job and glad to deduce that your legs are more or less of equal length.
Pink Floyd
Fabulous band and I saw the concert in Zurich a few years back. Amazing!!
Wow, that must have been cool!

I like it!
This is very pretty with all the different tones and letters from the brick maker I'm guessing - I used to work for a brick company years ago and they always put their marks somewhere.
Yeah,
But here in India you can also put your own letters on the bricks by paying a little bit extra.
That's very interesting. I wonder what I would have engraved.....hmmmm.
A quiet place for a break..
I love it! Where did you take the picture?
Zitouna Mosque from Tunisia..
Wow, so nice. I was in Tunisia once and had a great visit!
Ahh So gooooddd..welcome again, I am waiting you for the next visit..
I love this too....especially with the birds finding perch on the scroll work.
I love this!! Fantastic shot!
This is SUCH a great shot, @kouba01 - well spotted!

This is my entry for the contest, it is a wall, of a tower from a castle in England, great contest :)
It seems that our dear @vee2180 does a lot of travelling! Nice entry!
yes :) whenever i can ! :)
Hey I will upvote regardless!
Though I do hope to get in on more of your contests!
Look forward to seeing the beautiful mundane art!
We now have 10 competed galleries and not one of them has an @quinneaker hanging in it?
There's something wrong with that picture!!!!
Thanks for the support and am confident that a Mighty Quinn original will one day grace our walls!
hahahahaha its time we change that!
See you soon Dawg!
Here's my entry. This wall was among the ruins of an old church in western Ireland, near Galway. The earliest records that mention the church are from 1302A.D., so we know it's at least that old.
Are you located in Ireland. I was there for the first time last year. Loved it!
Nah, I live in the middle of Pennsylvania. We went in 2016. Some of the driving was pretty wild, but we had a blast. We stopped at every ruin we came across... which there were quite a few of!
I love this....mostly because its from Ireland and second because I can see it hung on a wall as art. :)
Thanks! I felt like this is what he was looking for as far as imagery goes. Kinda tight shots on the wall components.
I think so too. and I think I missed the mark. I had two others but was being indecisive. This is fun regardless.
Hi there! This is my entry for The Mundane as Art Round 11 :)
Strangely interesting.
Haha, thanks!
Well Old Dog I did a post to spread the word. I trust it may have inspired a few folks to try out the contest. Seems the consensus is to enter this pic.
Many thanks for taking the time to put together these fine contests!
Lots of interesting elements here for my twisted mind! :)
I marvel at your compilations all the time, you take your time to making sure you obtain beautiful stuffs, you are awesome @kus-knee
You are too kind! Much appreciated friend!
I'm gonna check the walls of Castelli di Bellinzona ;-)
Will let you know :-)
Go explore!
This wall in Prague probably isn't what you were initially thinking about, but I love the color and the concept of open participation.
A wall is a wall. Lots of room for interpretation!
Would like to participate in your contest, @kus-knee.
Here is my picture of a wall that I like, personally. I like the different sizes of rock which made up the wall and the colour as well. Hope you find it interesting as much as I do.
Yes, I like it!

Good luck to all contestants!!!!
Nice!
Hi @kus-knee, this is my entry for the The Mundane as Art Round 11 -Walls Contest. I haven't write the post for this yet, just wanted to submit for this contest first.
The wall is a background of a fountain, you can see the water running down from it and actually quite soothing to just sit in front and stare at it... hahaha
Thank you for having me in this contest. Cheers!
Beautiful!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!

Old wall with red glass. Thank you for the new wonderful contest;)
This is a real beauty @tanata! You always understand what I'm looking for!
It's not difficult, I love the same things)
I can imagine it with the sunlight shining off the glass bits.
I'm not sure if this photo qualify for this contest but I really like the fact that its a wall on the beach that used to belong to a house that was claimed by the ocean... also the little painting is another detail that I love...
Thanks!
Beautiful!
an old Russian wall in China from before the ww2. the design is quite mundane but yet still unique for the part of the world.
I didn't notice your avatar until @kus-knee said something - very nice...I love it. Are you missing Canada? hehe
I am missing Canada. I think this will be my last few months in China if all goes according to plan. I love being in China too but I got bigger things on the horizon. I'm glad you like the new avatar. ^^
Thanks for the photo. I like your Loon avatar!
hehe, thanks, it's actually going to be a logo for something big I got coming up. Stay tuned, I think it might be something you're interested in.

Thanks a lot. Love you hat by the way!
Hi @kus-knee! My first time entering the mundane art challenge and it was not easy choosing a wall - I have a LOT of them in my catalogue! I particularly love the texture and colours in this one, though... So here it is:
And here's the link to my post: https://busy.org/photofeed/@jaytaylor/mundane-art-aqua-wall-with-ivy-remnants
That is so lovely!
Thank you! I was very happy when I found it (and glad that I had my camera with me)!
Hey Old Dog! i love the idea of the wall art gallery. I snapped this wall in Salvador, Brazil. i was fascinated by it. Probably it is too artificially?! let me know what you think. Regards, Ivan from Switzerland.
Hey @ivansnz! Very cool wall indeed!
At last i found something interesting hehe:) This is my entry:
OK great! Nice. You made it by less than 1 hour! :)
Ohhhh yeahhh i was afraid to miss this round out:)
I might be too late for this one, but I'll post a shot anyway. This is a detail from a house in Venice, Italy. I love the beauty in the layers formed by decay.
Thanks for sending it in!
A small taverna in Thassos, Greece. Because is Greece, the walls must be white. Looks interesting to me. I've seen great photos in this contest, I think it's hard to pick the winner. My post is not so spectacular but I like this contest very much and that's why I'm attending, thank you Old Dog!
WOW! Beautiful!!! :-D
Thank you! I had to choose from several options but none is spectacular.
Thanks for sending it in!
With all my pleasure, wait for another contest to post something competitive, for this one I wasn't so inspired.
It was a hard pick but then I remembered how I should not complain since you have much harder picking to do every week :)
Thanks for sending it in!
Hello, my participation. Photo in my trip to Madrid

That's a colorful beauty of a wall!
It is indeed @kus-knee. These buildings were full of some of the most abstract, amazing textures and colors I have ever seen in stages of deterioration. Grateful to share this with you.
Nice one @everlove. I love what you did with it....very colorful and creative.
Thanks for the comment @countrygirl. It was a really amazing wall!
Strikingly beautiful, works especially well if you rotate it 90 degrees with the red on top.
I love how we can all see beauty differently--a simple twist and it brings on a whole new meaning! Thanks for the comment @roused. I appreciate your bringing forth the consideration.
Beautiful wall
This wall was built in 1622 and is at Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
It's really cool!
is that shaded brick or two tones of brick? really nice Mel!
It is shaded. I was rather afraid you wouldn't be able to tell what was happening there.
I can se it!!! It's a really great entry for sure!!
Women’s Dormitory at the Centre for Development Studies, located in Ulloor, Trivandrum.
This building features some of Baker’s most vitruosic brick work.
Very intetesting!
Entry by @outerground
I like this very much. I'd be curious to know what and where it is.
aha.. thanks @kus-knee if you click the link, I wrote a post all about it and the influences from art which inspired me to capture it. (it's a wall on the London Underground Network (the Tube) and it's odd simulacra is the effect of many advertising posters, constantly removed but never quite 100% removed. It's something which I find quite beautiful in it's mundane, abstract formation and I've even recreated some of my own !
heh... well what a coincidence to meet you here @outerground :D I just posted a wall here, too
great minds - it's a small world (to mix aphorisms) ! mundane art.. almost as universal as GP !
Very cool! I LOVE it!
🚀 🚀 🚀
Wall of St. John's Fortress , Sibenik, Croatia.
I like it!
fun fact: One scene in Game of Thrones was filmed here and I was present ;)
ooh ! :-)
it looks like there is nothing in between that is holding it... wow!
Nearby is St.James Cathedrale (Unesco site), indeed made without any binding material.
I like that! :-)
And that's the bank wall of River Thames in Central London:
Good to have it. Thanks!
Thank you @kus-knee for initiating the #mundaneart photo contest
I like it!
The mundane as art. xo
