Mtb California, Sanborn park

in #mtb6 years ago

Today was a really nice day for cycling in northern California, weather was around 80* with a nice breeze.

One of the look outs over Saratoga, CA

The ride was only 12 miles, but there was quite a bit of climbing at 2100 feet.

It's a bit dusty being in the latter part of summer, but sill nice to get out and enjoy the secenry.

At summit rock park, there are some really large rock structures. Some of them have this type of texture on the underlying ledge. It appears that it was underwater at some point in history.

The first image is really great. Living in one the flattest countries I would love to go biking in mountains. Maybe I should move to Scotland and get it out of the system :)

For a country that is relatively flat, it produces quite a few top pro cyclists! I'm surprised that there is not too many mountain ranges over there. Maybe it's a bit too far north? (Compared to middle europe)

Denmark is lowland islands on the foot of the Scandinavian fjell, but if you go a bit North, Norway has quite impressive mountains. The easiest way of getting around up there is by Nordic skiing, while we in Denmark have a very vital bicycle culture always competing with Holland to be the top cycling nation. I think that inspires many people to also use the bike for competition.

Everybody will like your post to post so well.

Hmm, maybe the cyclists and people that enjoy the outdoors...

nice post and good ride.
