THE MEANING OF THE SYMBOLS IN MY UNIVERSITY'S LOGO

As shown above,the logo of the University comprises:
(1). An open book, symbolizing learning in all the universal ramifications;
(2).Two elephant tusks,two young palm fronts and a single "ekere" (metal gong), all located at the centre of the open book,symbolizing and emphasising knowledge as power and the instrument of service and peaceful coexistence ; and
(3). A circle enclosing the symbols and the motto, surrounded by another circle within which the name of the University is inscribed with NIGERIA at the base. The circle symbolize integration and unity.FB_IMG_1507748261816.jpg
