It puts up a great mirror to the same babaric practice very common in the west for the same reason and usualy at a younger age were you really couldnt argue that the boys might be consenting.
Even in attitudes towards it there is no difference - women tend to support the practice - much stronger than men do and more the less educated they are, just like with MGM.
