We saw the new Baby Driver flick at Alamo, and you know how they have those exclusive trailers and stuff? Well, they had the director Edgar Wright doing an exclusive breakdown of GOAT car chases. He was a big fan of The Italian Job, Fury Road, The French Connection and the like. This movie has joined those ranks in stride. Can't wait to see more from this guy. The car chases were innovative and well paced, the acting was slightly above par, the story kinda bounced around some, but made up for it in the end. the character development was on point. Kevin Spacey shoulda had more screen time, but didn't disappoint as usual. Jamie Fox was actually the flat one of the bunch for once. Kinda one dimensional, but it could have been the writing.
THE MUSIC WAS PHENOMENAL. The action was synced up to the music during the whole movie. MESMERIZING. I was literally playing the air drums during every chase. So good.
Want to see it again, maybe not for the story, but def for the car chases... and the music!
