Great review! I didn't even see the trailer, from the poster it looks too similar to Saw, also known as "you saw one you saw them all" (quote from honest trailer). So I feel no need to see this movie, ever. I was happy to see that you mentioned the similarities, but this genre is dead to me and many other people.
