Do you ever start watching a series and become completely engrossed? Watching episode upon episode? The last time I did this was this time last year with Ozarks, when I watched the entire Season One in one day. Yes, really. (Have you seen that by the way??)
My colleague told me about Dark last week, and over the weekend we started watching it. The first few episodes are completely confusing and the viewer does not really have a sense of what is happening. I'm on episode five now, and have my theories of what is happening, but am not entirely sure
It's a creepy sci-fi show where kids go missing, through loops or cracks in time, full of wormholes and puzzling characters.
Set in small town Winden, Germany, just outside of a nuclear power plant, Dark is a mysterious series reminiscent of Stranger Things, The OA and the PS4 game, Heavy Rain. It focuses on three points in time, 2019, 1986 and 1953, and it is soon clear that there is a supernatural patten repeating itself throughout history
I really don't want to say any more as I am scared to ruin the show for you. I'm only half way and still confused AF. So far, I have kind of figured out whose who in each different era, but still have no idea who, why or what is causing the time travel, and I think I am just reaching the juicy parts.
I love shows like this where the viewer is slightly lost most of the time, trying to figure out what the fudgestickle is going on.

YES, this is definitely a good one! I truly dig it. Also the 'photography' of this series is excellent. Notice the yellow jacket and the yellow chair near 'the entrance'? That yellow chair is there both to show us in which time we are, but it's also just a spectacular prop placed there by a talented photographer who understands that visual :-)

I usually watch shows while I am editing photos so dont give full attention so this may be one to watch when I am just relaxing as I suspect I would have to pay more attention to it

Love weird and confusing shows. You are the second one this week to tell me we should watch Dark. We are watching 3% right now so Dark will be next.

And yes I did that with The Sopranos and Sex and The City with my wife back in Summer of 2006. We watched the whole series on DVD within a few days for each.

Oh gosh, I think I have watched SATC four times from beginning to end. It was one of my favourite shows when I was younger

Right !! Yeah, I laughed at my wife ( back then she was my fiancee) and told her I wasn't about to watch the series with her. She made me watch the first two and I couldn't stop watching after that lol
We are such Netflix bingers. So many shows that we find and spend a weekend getting lost in sometimes. It is the best part of Netflix in my opinion and why I have cancelled regular cable. Some shows to include Sense 8, Bloodline and Wentworth but there are sooooooo many more. Right now we are watching Safe and it is freaking awesome. I will add Dark to our must watch list.
we don't even have regular tv... Maybe we do, but I don't know how to use it lol! we also don't have a telephone, so I think it's safe to say we are properly in the future, what with our blockchain usage and streaming/downloading of everything... lol

hahaha! Yes, it's suspenseful, but not scary! I also scare myself sometimes, and my apartment is old and creaky
yeah one day i watched IT movie and that night i slept and somebody knocked my door.. and when i opened no body was there....
from that day i never watch anything alone .. lol..
