I remember catching this movie opening day, it made 90 million in its first five days. That was a lot back in 1996, but what does it all mean? It really is a picture of how the debt locust will destroy the financial system in 2008. All those ships surrounding the earth were banks that were positioned specifically over a target and the mother ship was the central bank. Well, after a lot of destruction, everyone banded together and were able to save civilization.
But wait, then a movie comes out in 2016 called, ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’. A movie that was completely horrible, but I wasn’t looking at it as a movie, but a message. What is the message? Well, a new and improved alien life form reigns havoc on the earth and space above? It was a new bad alien, similar to the old one, but different. See, the first aliens were big financial bubbles, but we also have that now. But something else we have now is ‘derivatives’ which is the complete underbelly of our financial system as it presently stands (a 1.4 quadrillion market). So that is the new threat, derivatives, and it will be bigger and uglier than the first alien of bubbles.
I love the first ‘Independence Day’. I’ve watched it a lot, even bought the soundtrack. But something creepy I noticed is right before the President climbs up on the jeep and is about to address his squadron, they show a picture of the American flag waving in the air, but the flag has no stars. Sheesh, what are they trying to say with that? Check it out next time it comes on TV. And I bet many of you thought these movies were about predictive programming for a coming space alien attack. Nope, that's too easy, it’s about them destroying the financial system completely and if possible, ripping the stars right off that flag.
Let me know if I'm right or if I'm way off. Love to hear your feedback!
